1/5What’s right with RocNovel? NOTHING!!!!
As many others have said this app has nothing going for it! I don’t even bother reading the beginning parts of books that are ads on another app anymore because I know it’ll lead to nothing but trouble. As others have mentioned they have multiple platforms so they can bleed you dry. There’s the app but you can’t find the advertised story you saw on there, nope you can only get to it by clicking the link which takes you to one of MANY rocNovel websites. If you come across another story that looks good, and you try searching the app and can’t find it, then you try searching the website you’ve already opened and you can’t find it there either because again this other book requires its own website too. Then each website requires you to sign away your bank account to read a few chapters. I did get some of my money back on a dispute I filled through PayPal and they told me how to stop a subscription, but yeah they charged me twice each day for the next two days’ of subscriptions even though it was supposed to be a daily thing. So basically their library is not consistent across the app and multiple websites that they have set up because they want you to pay money on subscriptions for each one. I finally found two websites that allowed me to pay just one sum to read a book and while the beginning of the two books I chose to do this with were interesting in the ad, they seriously fell short once I got into them. They were so very boring it was ridiculous. One I went ahead and paid the one day subscription but as soon as it was paid I unlinked the site from my account so they couldn’t charge me again. I finished what ended up being a dull story in the long run and then started another one. The dialogue was short with no actual sentences. It was mind numbingly boring. So no matter how interesting the beginning may look in the ad, don’t bother because even if you manage somehow to throw away your bank account on the multiple platforms that all require money independently of each other, more than likely the rest of the story will be so dull you’ll wonder why they decided to make you pay for your own torture.

1/5Not Worth It/ No Star!
Not only are the chapters overpriced, it seems to be a scam. First issue was they hook you with a specific story & then when you get the app it’s hard or even impossible to find. When you do by some miracle find the story or another you might like they are overpriced. If you sign up for one of their weekly or daily deals, they will keep charging your card with other mystery amounts that were not listed & you didn’t agree to. Then if you opt to watch ads for chapters, they raise the point value while you are watching the ads so you can’t get there! Simply not worth your time or money!

I read a couple different stories on this app and was honestly hoping they’d be worth it but one was full of typos and the other was super hard to read. It was only 20 chapters but it was like the “author” didn’t read the previous chapter before starting the new one. The names of the characters changed and it was just freaking confusing to the point I couldn’t finish reading it and I love books. Plus their ads are super misleading for purchases too. It’s not right- expecting people to pay money for AI generated garbage. Shame on you. Uninstall.

This app is the work of disgusting con artists who engage in fraudulent and double billing. If you cut the subscription, which you need to do through the payment method, not them, and try to download the app to go back to free browsing and videos, they up the chapter charge massively (so you can’t get content by videos anymore), and they save your data. This is a totally unethical and disgusting company. They also have a whole book that’s just the plot of “gone girl.” They barely changed it except for names! It is absurd! Do not download this app!

Do not under any circumstances subscribe or purchase coins from this service. I never subscribed to Rocnovel but started getting 20$ a day charges. Could find no information about it. Had to file chargebacks with my credit card and then had a new card with a different account number to stop these scammers. There is no way to cancel in the app or through the website. There’s only an email, and you get no response. Stay far away from this app and its website.
