I’m very impressed with the crystal council app. You get a huge database of information about tons of different crystals, including the magickal/spiritual properties. There’s a neat shop to purchase gorgeous crystals and a blog to learn more. If you turn on notifications you will get sales notifications and a crystal of the day to learn about. You can favorite crystals or products and for a mere $5.99/month you get a crystal identification feature. Just take or upload a photo of a crystal and it will tell you what it is plus its properties. I also love that their crystals are ethically sourced. I highly recommend this app for crystal enthusiasts, witches/Wiccans, spiritual people, or anyone curious.

1/5!!!!COMPLETE GARBAGE AND RUDE!!!!!!
Please do not subscribe to this app and if you do don’t op for the yearly to “save money”. This app has not improperly identified 95% of the minerals I’ve attempted to add to my collection. Minerals of which I already know the identity. If it’s anything other than something painfully simple like rose quartz or amethyst, this thing is going missing every time. Then, when you try to use the message functions you will encounter rude people!! And to top it off, Apple will not refund you so good luck getting your money back from these thieves. That’s why their rating is in serious decline and they simply cannot compete with other apps. Rock Identifier does not have the teeny bopper marketing like this app does but it has been remarkably accurate considering the limitations of a simple picture. Plus, you will actually have a week trial period to make that determination! It also has scientific features which anyone who is serious about minerals should want. This app belongs in the garbage can and the people who profit from it belong in jail.

The app is everything a crystal collector needs. It does almost everything you can think of such as a massive search engine providing details of crystals from composition to metaphysical properties and more. It allows you to add crytals to your personal collection. It’s always being upgraded with crytals and functions. The latest addition is an identifier, which is better than any other in the app store. The app allows you to search for crystals by type, like raw, rare finds, tumbled. It allows for easy check out and you can pay by a variety of methods including Affirm. I can go on but you get the idea. Check it out for yourself.

5/5Great app & Great support!
Firstly, this app is AMAZING! You can search for crystals/gemstones based on metaphysical properties, planets, and all other kinds of filters. The information is wonderful too in the way that it is presented. You can find out about the hardness and composition and a myriad of other details including pairings. Secondly, the support staff is phenomenal! The app was crashing on me and they got right in there and figured it out and updated it before I was able to settle down for the evening. Seriously, you will love this app if you are a crystal/gemstone enthusiast for ANY reason!

4/5Rock identification fails
This is a great educational app for those interested in gemstones and has a good way to input and organize your collection. The identification, on the other side, fails miserably. Maybe only 5-10% of guesses are correct and they’re usually those that are too obvious, you don’t even need an identification. And if you want to change with the correct answer, you need to pay membership. Too bad, because they could really improve the identification results with the help of their customers. They should really not ask for money from people who want to help. Everything else is great!
