1. 1/5If I could just get past the ads and

   to the actual point where I can download the ringtone I will be more than happy to change my review. At this point I’ve had to watch three ads and the app has asked for a review twice! And I JUST downloaded the songs! AND… before they tell me how to attach the tones to the peeps? … yep! ya gotta watch another ad! Oh yippee skippy! It’s only my most favorite thing to do! You would never know it but I’m the MOST PATIENT PERSON IN THE WHOLE WORLD… no, let’s make that the entire FREAKING UNIVERSE! That’s me! I was only looking for a simple app that would allow me to download “free ringtones on my iPhone”! Not sit and watch 300 ads for things I have not even the slightest interest in… and I spent A LOT OF TIME LOOKING AT TONS OF THESE APPS! I would so looooove you …if only. Yes, if only you were “ad free”! If I could actually.. just download some really sweet tunes..and assign them to my people and THEN I would write my review and let you know “that you have just completely and throughly ROCKED MY WORLD!” Alas, I fear I cannot say these words today. Perhaps there may come a day. But that time is not yet here. I am, unfortunately going to delete this app and will go back to iTunes. It may cost me a $1.99 but, sometimes a bit less! I definitely will not be forced into sitting here and watching useless ads and having to close out multiple windows! This makes paying $1.99 worth it every day! I guess im pretty naive to believe all those reviews that gave ***** five stars! That’s just not possible! And we started off so good…

2. 2/5Must load Garage Band to make this app work

   This app allows one to get songs from their library, but in order to turn a song into a ringtone you have to have the GarageBand app. This isn’t just create and and bam you have your new ringtone. It’s more complicated then that. I choose not to load GarageBand so I will be deleting this app. At one time I had an app titled Ringtone Maker. One could take a song from their library and convert it into a 40 second ringtone with just a few clicks. What happened to that app I have no idea, but it was so simple. This app I am not a fan of. I’ll keep looking for an app similar to Ringtone Maker.

3. 5/5Using your own music

   It’s pretty cool you can use your own music to edit ringtones. Unfortunately you can use every song you like due to music rights, due to whoever controls the music rights, thinking that most just want to sell it for their benefit, when in reality we just want to use it for our benefit, because it doesn’t exist to use as an actual ringtone in the first place. I wish they also had a fade out feature, so the part of the song you want to use, eases in and eases out. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good app to use.

4. 5/5So easy to make ringtones from your iTunes library.

   No need for a computer or having to use another app. Fast, simple and effective way to use clips of songs you’ve purchased to make your own ringtones. Keywords to note are “Songs You’ve Purchased”. Once you’re familiar with the app and you know exactly what ringtone you want, it’ll probably take less than 3 minutes to make your own ringtone. Yes it’s that easy.

5. 5/5Unbelievably simple

   Typically apps give you the run around when trying to make your own ringtone. I found the perfect song and wanted it to be my ringtone and unfortunately apple didn’t already have it as a ringtone to purchase. So all I did was buy the song, opened App Store, typed in ringtone maker, clicked install, & it was downloaded as quickly as I clicked install and closed the App Store. Tapped the plus sign, agreed to the things I needed to. Clicked to import using iTunes App Store option. And boom there it was. Took less than 3 minutes and I’m just absolutely amazed at how easy it was!
