1. 5/5Was skeptical but app is AMAZING! However, PRICE is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

   I’ve seen this app advertised so much and finally decided to download it. I was SHOCKED to see it’s a whopping $9.99 a WEEK so that’s roughly $40 a month. Thats OUTRAGEOUS! However, they do offer a 7 day trial which is what I’m doing right now but I don’t think I’ll be subscribing after my trial and I’m sad about it. They have you upload like 15-20 of your best photos of you so Ai can start to profile what you look like. You then select a not so good pic of you and are able to have Ai change the face. I tried it and immediately had to come leave a review. They do an amazing job! They give you many options to choose from and each face you can thumb up or down. The ones you thumb down will no longer be shown to you. I hope I’m making sense explaining this process. If not, it is so easy to do and they walk you through the whole process. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. However, I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping it after the Free Trail cause $40 a month is extremely expensive. I don’t think I would be using this app that much to warrant spending $40 on it. So unfortunately I’ll be canceling after the trail. Such a shame cause this app is so cool I just can’t justify the price. I get it what they do here is amazing technology and I’m glad they know their worth but I just could NEVER! I’m definitely sad about it cause I do content and this would be amazing for my thumbnails and ig posts. Anyways, hope this info helped. If y’all can afford the price DO IT DO IT DO IT! This app is the BEST you’re gonna find.💯🙌🏼

2. 5/5From Oh No! to Whew! So Much Better!

   I have a very special picture with a friend I asked another friend to take with my phone. He quickly took ONE and said it looked okay. When I got where I could look at it, I can honestly say it was one of the worst pictures of myself I’ve ever seen! Too late for a retake. I tried to fix the awful look on my face and change my open mouth to no avail. I then sent it to a family member who works with making videos every day and can edit any mistakes. He said he tried but couldn’t make it look good and the coloring would be way off. I said there just has to be a way. Sticker another head! Then going through some emails, BINGO! There was an ad for “Retake” doing exactly what I was hoping could be done! I downloaded it and chose about 15 pictures from my saved pictures and within a few minutes a much improved picture of me and You absolutely cannot tell changes were made! It is amazing! Several pictures are there to slide back and forth and watch expressions change and also the way I am facing, each looking great and blended in the perfect position! I was going to take it to a studio and ask someone to please help! The Free Trial will convince anyone! Thank You, Retake, for such a great, useful tool. Now onto many more Retakes!

   I LOVE how it doesn’t change me! It simply accentuates my best features and removes flaws that the i phone accentuates. For example, the wrinkles. The I phone camera lens ( the way it was designed with a curve, I think is what I read about) will zero in on any shadow and magnify it, and this is why the wrinkles look so much worse. Apparently they create a shadow that the iPhone picks up and enhances. The wrinkles are NOT something we want enhanced on our face lol, but if it’s a scenic photo it is great. It enhances little details that normally would not be noticeable. Retake simply undoes this enhancement so your photos look like what others see in person. It basically makes you look like the real you, not a version of you that focuses on and emphasizes tiny flaws like fine lines and uneven skin coloration like darker spots that are normally not noticeable to the eye when you’re in person. This way people see you how they would in person. It’s a natural fix and you don’t look like an entirely different person like other apps do. Every other app perfects the tiniest flaws and replaces them and you wind up with a different nose lips. Your nose will get replaced with one of their models nose. They change the Shape of your feathers and skin almost completely. Not Retake. If you want people to see YOU, this is the best app EVER!

4. 1/5Misleading & they will not refund you

   This is a terrible app service. I signed up for the 7 day free trial on May 13th, 2025. I ended up being charged on May 24th for 2 weeks- over $21 for this app. If you didn’t know, this app charges $9.99 A WEEK. (Not even ChatGPT is that much and can do the same thing? , just FYI.) I was charged for both May 14- 21 which should have been my “free trial” period. This was one of those things where you want to try out the free trial to see if the app is a fit for you. It was not. I used it once on the ‘May 13th date. Then I was charged again for a second week on May 22. Both charges hit my card on May 24. I noticed immediately the charge that isn’t usually on my card and reached out immediately to get a refund. I understand not canceling in time but I am being overcharged for this app since the “trial period” should have been free that I am now being charged for. Just wanted to post my experience so that others may be aware. BUYER BEWARE- even if you’re signing up for a “free trial” They will charge you for the trial period- which is false advertising and charging fees under gale pretenses.. They declined my refund request so I will be contacting my credit card company to remove the charges and dispute.

5. 1/5Not what they claim

   As a professional photographer of more than 40 years experience I was excited by the advertisements for this app And disappointed with the results. From their ads, I was under the impression that I could edit any photo of a person that I took not just selfies. It works in the same way as many other FREE AI photo manipulators by having you upload several photos of yourself which it then uses the AI to correct your photos but the basic edit doesn’t seem to do much of anything meaning you have to go back in and make other changes yourself just as you would editing a photo on your phone at which point the image just come out, looking very phony and over manipulated. Considering everything I had to do, I can fix most of the photos myself for free and it also doesn’t work on any photos you take of other people. Lastly, it claimed that you got one week for free to try it and they were supposed to notify me before charging me instead I got charged $9.99 and Apple would not credit the money back. The most I would ever pay for an app like this would be a one time charge of 999. It’s just not worth the money for what it does.

   This is a very difficult app to navigate. In fact, I never actually did a "Retake," because it never allowed me to move forward!! This is a very frustrating app! And I have 50 other apps, so go figure!!
