1. 5/5Can’t get past login screen

   Entered my MyHeritage credentials and pressed the Log In button. Nothing happens, even if I press it repeatedly or hold it down. UPDATE: The Reimagine app seems to be the same as the functionality in the MyHeritage app. Once I had tried it in MyHeritage, I had no problem logging into Reimagine. It’s a simple but effective app that did wonders for old grainy black and white photos. I am sure I will get a lot of use from it. There is a problem logging in, which hopefully the developer will solve. It might have occurred because I installed both MyHeritage and Reimagine about the same time and didn’t realize that the features of Reimagine are already included in MyHeritage.

2. 5/5Can’t get past the login page

   It asked me to sign in with MyHeritage account. I tried to and it said I don’t have an account so I haven’t been able to use it. Help!

3. 3/5Not quite ready for prime time

   First, my photos are professional scans of slides that were taken between 1970 and 1985. Evidently before the days of digital sharpness, we were accustomed to some level of blur because these slides looked fine when projected onto a wall. But like another AI enhancer that I tried, this one seems to sharpen the faces, leaving a bizarre scene of sharp features on a blurry body and background. And sometimes the interpretation leads to grotesque features, especially on babies. If the photo is only very slightly blurry, this does a good job. But if the photo is only very slightly blurry, it’s probably acceptable as is.

4. 1/5All I wanted was a photo editor

   After having the yearly subscription rate charged to me during the beginning of the “Free Trial period “, I attempted to use the editor to repair the scratches and damage to a few of my older photos. To my disappointment not only did it not remove the scratches but added more damage to the photos. Because of this I decided to cancel my subscription on the first day but low and behold there does not seem to be anywhere to accomplish this on the app. When I looked it up in the support section, only cancellation of the My Heritage subscription was addressed and those options were not available on the reimagine app settings section. Not well thought out or just some way to make one get more than they wanted.

5. 2/5iOS photo picker inadequate

   I enjoy the app for quick repair and colorization of old photos. However, using the app is frustrating as the photo picker only reveals a list of directories not the way Apple intended. I usually resort to using the web based version as that method recognizes folder structure of the Apple photo app, with nesting. This app puts every directory in the picker at one level. For someone who utilizes the photo app the way it was intended for organization, a picker that doesn’t recognize nested directories makes finding a photo impossible.
