   I will start off by saying that because of my job, (treatment facility) i am taking my clients to the movies about every other weekend especially if it is raining. I might add that that’s a lot because i live in Miami. Because of this and always buying at least 4 tickets 5 including me (most of the time it’s about 7-9 tickets) and concession for all of us, i rack a lot of points which allows me to go just about whenever i want either with me and my girlfriend, or us and two of our three children. So i pretty much end up spending maybe $5 for popcorn and that’s it because i save the points for tickets only (i sneak snacks in) and I’ll just give my sons each ten bucks to play at the arcade. Most of that is useless information for you guys but overall i love this app because of how easy it is to use, it never glitches on me never freezes or crashes. And still loads pretty fast when I’m using only data on the road or at the theatre. If you go to the movies and spend a lot of money there, in regards to popcorn or you have a decent size family you take, this app is the bomb. Save hem points and run it up. 🤙🏻

2. 4/5Good, but could be better

   I have been a regal unlimited member for 18mos and overall I like the app. I like being able to purchase and select seats in advance and the ability to see my reward points accumulate. However, there are some bugs that really could use addressing. Unlike most apps where you are always logged in unless you physically log yourself out, the regal app routinely logs me out and I have to log back in 3-6 times a month. While logging in is not such a big deal, the app is notorious for providing an error message, (try again later), when trying to log in. This happens at least 50% of my login attempts and gets extremely frustrating. Another bug that has sprung up is under the “my tickets purchased” page, I used to be able to see my current movie tickets plus all the movie tickets I have previously purchased. Now, it only shows current unused tickets. I have written to their app customer service and while they are generally good at responding within a few days, they rarely give any relevant information to fix or even acknowledge the bug exists. There solution is almost always, delete the app and reinstall it. I’ve done this multiple times and it never fixes the bug. These bugs are frustrating, but the unlimited plan is worth the hassle. Being able to pick a movie, buy tickets, and select seats in advance via the app outweighs the other inconveniences so far.

3. 3/5Create a Regal subscription service or go extinct

   Attention higher-ups at Regal, I have been a fan of your theaters for years. I am a diamond crown club member with a half a million lifetime credits earned. My favorite thing about your theaters is the recliners. That’s what sets you apart from AMC and all the other theaters in our area. I religiously only attended movies at your theater, then movie pass came around and it made it even easier and cheaper to see movies at your theater! I absolutely loved it. But now with MoviePass Dying, I simply can’t go back to the old way of paying full price (way too much money per movie). I currently have a MoviePass subscription, a Sinemia subscription, and I’m sad to admit it, I recently signed up for the AMC stubs a-list. Now I can get three movies a week from them. All this to say that you have officially lost my business, and if you hope to get it back, you will need to get with the times and create a subscription service similar to what AMC has been doing with their A-list. Please do this as I would much rather watch every single movie in your theaters than any other theater, but I simply can’t afford to go back to paying full price again. Let’s face it, the same way that the music industry has been drastically changed by subscription services, so is the film industry. So please get with the times, and create a subscription model for all of your theaters. I will be the very first to sign up with you and AMC will never see me again. Thanks

4. 1/5Absolutely pitiful

   It only gets one star because I can’t get the system to accept a rating with zero stars! App worked very well as promised until probably two years ago and it’s been useless ever since. This is my last attempt to try and get some help with it. It just suddenly stopped working— won’t even load. Can’t access my account with it, can’t buy tickets, can’t even get a list of theaters or what’s playing or showtimes. Tried deleting and reinstalling, didn’t work. App says it needs an update but when I try to update it just says I can’t access the page. There is no customer service contact info available on the Regal website or anywhere else online I could find. I talked to two different theater managers who said they’ve heard it many times before; they could offer no help nor any way to contact Regal to any help. I did get a reference ticket-73deb48ede6d8127, but again without a way to contact anyone it’s useless. Doubt it’s my phone, new iPhone with everything up to date and no other problems. Used to patronize Regal most every weekend pre-lockdown, I guess their company is another covid statistic. Fortunately Cinemark is in the area so I can still go to the movies, but Regal is a sad loss. For those of you who want to use the app good luck and I hope it works for you; but do you really want to do business with a company that’s so unresponsive, unaccessible and indifferent to customer service? Think about it people, voting with our dollars is the only way we can have a voice…

5. 1/5Worst experience with an app and customer support ever

   I often travel and go to school while working so I will freeze my account when I can’t go. They failed to freeze multiple times so the freeze went into affect too late and then I couldn’t use it when I needed it because it was still frozen. The customer support takes a while to respond and are very unhelpful. My last occurrence my account was supposed to come unfrozen. Went to go see a movie while I was out and couldn’t get in because it said it was frozen(when it shouldn’t have been). I was with friends so forgot to take care of it and went the following month to find the same issue was still occurring. I do this with my wife so it’s almost like it ruins it for two subscriptions when we run into problems like this. I told them at this point I see it as I paid for a service NOT rendered that met their conditions and was still charged after it already waisted a monumental amount of my time, money, gas, points, and enjoyment of going to see a movie. I have never been more deeply disappointed in an app and their services. Their lack of commitment to me as a customer makes it so I will never want to go back again. Even though I have been a good loyal customer to them since 2016 and subscriber for over a year. When I mentioned I might take further action for not refunding me, they ignored me. So I highly advice anyone to find a different movie theatre and app.
