5/5Everything I've ever wanted in a camera app
I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time! It removes so much of the friction that usually comes with recording on my phone. Instead of scattered clips across my camera roll, everything can live in one place. Features like the date/time stamp are something I’ve always wanted for a home-movie style look, and Discrete Mode, which lets me film horizontal while holding my phone vertically, makes recording feel natural and low-pressure. Between those, recording directly in the app, and the widgets for quick access to your current project, vlogging feels effortless and enjoyable! I also can’t say enough good things about the team behind the app. I reached out with a camera issue, and they were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and kind throughout the process — and fixed it quickly. You can really tell this app was built by people who actually care about the user experience. Thank you so much, Reelshot!

5/5Wish I would have found it sooner
Does just what it says! Super easy to work. Love the portrait a day feature. It’s like everything you need to make a reel is built into the app. Using this I was able to delete other apps and save some space. Also the team behind the app seems really cool and they are responsive on social media. I love love love that I can easily group my photos together and go through by week! I actually forgot I had been to some places until I looked at my photos through the app. It’s super easy to edit and their Instagram even has templates. I’m Hoping they continue to improve the app. I’m impressed. I never sign up for an app longer than a month to month basis unless I really liked it. I used this app for 10 minutes and purchased a year subscription. Forever sub just might be next.

5/5Love it! So easy to use!
I was looking for an app that would make it easy to edit my videos and I’ve found it with this app! I love how I can take my videos and make quick snapshots of my life and my yearly recap, and then I can easily trim it to whatever length I want for each clip in one tap and I don’t have to do it manually like other apps. And the selfie portrait feature is so fun to use! It’s pretty crazy looking back at my selfies over a month time. Anyone who likes to edit their videos and wants an easy app to do it, would highly recommend this one!

5/5Reelshot is the perfect app for all vloggers!
As a vlogger that creates content for TikTok, I was thinking recently that an app specifically made specifically for vlogging would make capturing and editing content much easier. I’m glad I came across Reelshot because it does exactly what I need it to do, and it makes creating and editing vlogs much easier and faster. Love all the templates it includes, and the app is so easy to pick up and use. Highly recommend~

2/5app eventually makes you pay
i’ve had the app for about ten days and only used it once before it tried to get me to buy pro. the first issue i’ve had with this app was the fact that you can’t insert live photos. i wanted to insert live photos so it would be small clips of the live part but this app doesnt support that. if you insert a live photo, it removes the live part and makes it just into the photo. i wish it did because it would make my videos better. today when i tried to use the app, it wasnt letting me choose the size of my clips. instead it was making me choose an option that said “original”, or else i had to pay. it didn’t bother me much cause there are ways around it. after that , i tried to export it, but it tried to make me buy pro. i could physically not download the video. what is the point of the app if you can’t even save the video you made??? exporting your video should not be a premium feature. if exporting becomes default i would definitely reconsider downloading again.
