I have been a loyal Record Searchlight subscriber since 1993. It’s taken awhile to get used to the online platform, but so glad to still have access to local news coverage each day.

I'm pretty satisfied with the app as a supplement to the daily R-S edition. My only major complaint is that often when I click on a breaking news alert, it takes me to an article with only 1 or 2 sentences -- not much more useful than the original headline.

Hate the format - want to see it like I can on our computer which opens up like a newspaper & can go from page tp page. This app doesn’t have the page w/weather, earthquakes, lake levels etc. irate this app as 0 stars

1/5Does not work. Terrible
Three times Ive attempted using the app for a digital subscription over the last few years. Every time my password doesn’t work. I change it. It still doesn’t work. I then have to get Customer Support help. It seems that the security preventing unauthorized use of the Record Searchlight is Extremely successful but customer access is extremely difficult. Apparently I have a unreasonable expectation that my payment should authorize me.

I enjoy the print edition more, but for a quick update this is ok. For two months the print edition did not load all the way and I was unable to read it. Three times I tried to redo the app, waited 12 minutes or more on the phone to talk to someone and eventually gave up. Finally the app is working and I’m able to enjoy it. Also, due to my failing eyesight the audio is a welcome asset. Mrs. Jo Ann Toro
