5/5Best delivery app I’ve ever used
I live in the US and I was visiting Colombia for a month. Everyone told me to download this app and I’m so glad I did. This app is better than anything I’ve ever used in the US. In fact, I’ve stopped ordering through apps in the US because there are more problems than solutions. However, with Rappi, it has been incredibly easy. The menus are intuitive, the Rappi turbo function is genius! The Rappi delivery drivers follow instructions and the only issue I’ve ever had with the app was getting my card verified. That functionality is clunky, but I was able to get it resolved. Everything else is streamlined, modern and highly functional. I would only suggest an auto translation function for conversations from drivers. This app has an English version but some of the notifications and messages from drivers are in Spanish. I’ve seen this resolved in another app in Indonesia where they had common boilerplate questions and answers available to select to communicate with drivers. It was automatically translated to Indonesia for them and to English for me. You could also type your own comments, but those were not translated. Great job dev crew. This app and the service is borderline amazing.

Ive used this app almost every day for a year. Almost always my order takes double the estimated delivery time. Many times my order doesn’t arrive and I have to wait 5-10 for a refund. The customer service is completely useless. One time I ordered a pizza. The restaurant finished the pizza within 20 minutes and my Rappi arrived within 25. But he was assigned another order that he had to wait for for over an hour. I was only 10 away by motorcycle. I tried to use customer service support to see if the driver could come deliver me my pizza and not wait until my pizza was completely cold. Customer service told me they couldn’t contact the delivery driver. So I called him and talked to him. I tried telling him to just leave the pizza at the restaurant and that I would go get it because it had been so long. In the end the other order was assigned to another rappi after like an hour and a half and I got my pizza two hours after placing the order and it was completely cold. It’s just really disappointing that I could get in contact with the driver and the customer service rep could not. Horrible customer service, consistently slower delivery times then the estimated delivery time, very often they cancel orders that take 5-10 days to actually refund your money to you. I think if the order takes longer than the estimated time there should be a partial refund like on DiDi food. It has good selection and like 1 out of 5 deliveries is great. But it’s not worth the hassle of 4 frustrating, slow deliveries.

I was really hesitant to use rappi at first but a friend insisted. Once I started I am hooked. I am very busy and rappi helps with everything! From going to the market for food, bringing breakfast, coffee and lunch to work, to picking up my dry cleaners, buying meds in the pharmacy, even buying a baby shower gift on one occasion, bringing cash from the ATM, picking up my contact lenses and paying for them, and now I can donate food packages during the pandemic. Yes, fruit is not ideal for them to bring, but when you have no time one or two super ripe bananas doesn’t affect me as much as having no food in the house does. You can ask them to bring food from any restaurant you want and not have to rely if the company works with them or not. Many Hunan and Shake Shack purchases made like this. I highly recommend. Of all the times I have used it, about 5-6 times have I received the order slightly off- a pepperoni less, an order askew, no knives and forks, etc but rappi has always helped in refunding those times.

Took a month to even be accepted to create an account. When I tried signing up I then received “We’ve got your request and we’re on it!” After that nothing! It wasn’t until I wrote a review on here stating my issues that I was finally able to create an account. Rappi customer service is horrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone! Since Saturday I have been trying to place an order with no luck. My orders keep getting cancelled stating my account violates terms and conditions. They have charged me 5 times to verify my account and still it does not work. One of the many orders I tried placing I was charged for and then it cancelled but I was still charged and now have to wait 5-10 days for my refund. Customer support through the app is useless. They tell me to wait a few hours and my account should work and yet it does not. They then proceed to close my complaint listing it as resolved and again I start over with the exact same outcome. There is no way to speak to a live person even though they advertise 24/7 customer support. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of customer support/service is unbelievable. If I didn’t have to wait for my refund my account would already be cancelled.

3/5Needs lots of improvement
I have been using this app for almos 6 months now on a daily basis. I have used it as much as 5 times a day. I use it for the convenience yet needs much improvement when it comes to “communication.” Support is fast and good if you pay for the membership, and they have so far taken care of any issues. The problem is that 1 in 3 orders is wrong or missing something. Now keep in mind I use it every day 3 times a day or more, this means that one of my orders will be an “issue” everyday. It would be okay if it was once every other week or so. The other issue so to say is, all my orders are usually from the same places and the same order. Once there are 3 strikes I choose another place but the problem persists and it is very time consuming having to contact support and complain all the time. I do not like people that complain so much and now I am that person. I do think service can improve as far as always getting orders wrong or with missing items. Who is responsable to check an order prior to being sent/delivered, the driver or the restaurant? Neither will take the “blame” or responsibility.

Los pedidos muy rara vez llegan a la hora que inicialmente proponen y me robaron el último pedido que realicé en esta app, nunca llegó y el repartidor fingió que ya habia dejado la orden. Realizaron el reembolso pero la mala experiencia queda ahí.

una completa basura! para empezar me cargaron una suscripción que yo no autorice, asi que directo a profeco con eso y su ridiculez de suscripción, y tiempos de espera absurdos y nadie te ayuda. Vamos a ver si se siguen saliendo con la suya metiendo suscripciónes sin autorización.

como plataforma para pedir comida esta bien, pero los cupones son temporales (solo para usuarios rappi pro nuevos) y los descuentos son falsos. no te suscribas al rappi pro, incluso si hay "descuentos" por la subscripción. sale más barato ser usuario gratuito, o cocinar tu propia comida

          "body": "I live in the US and I was visiting Colombia for a month. Everyone told me to download this app and I’m so glad I did. This app is better than anything I’ve ever used in the US. In fact, I’ve stopped ordering through apps in the US because there are more problems than solutions. However, with Rappi, it has been incredibly easy. The menus are intuitive, the Rappi turbo function is genius! The Rappi delivery drivers follow instructions and the only issue I’ve ever had with the app was getting my card verified. That functionality is clunky, but I was able to get it resolved. Everything else is streamlined, modern and highly functional. I would only suggest an auto translation function for conversations from drivers. This app has an English version but some of the notifications and messages from drivers are in Spanish. I’ve seen this resolved in another app in Indonesia where they had common boilerplate questions and answers available to select to communicate with drivers. It was automatically translated to Indonesia for them and to English for me. You could also type your own comments, but those were not translated. Great job dev crew. This app and the service is borderline amazing.",

          "body": "Ive used this app almost every day for a year. Almost always my order takes double the estimated delivery time. Many times my order doesn’t arrive and I have to wait 5-10 for a refund. The customer service is completely useless. One time I ordered a pizza. The restaurant finished the pizza within 20 minutes and my Rappi arrived within 25. But he was assigned another order that he had to wait for for over an hour. I was only 10 away by motorcycle. I tried to use customer service support to see if the driver could come deliver me my pizza and not wait until my pizza was completely cold. Customer service told me they couldn’t contact the delivery driver. So I called him and talked to him. I tried telling him to just leave the pizza at the restaurant and that I would go get it because it had been so long. In the end the other order was assigned to another rappi after like an hour and a half and I got my pizza two hours after placing the order and it was completely cold. It’s just really disappointing that I could get in contact with the driver and the customer service rep could not. Horrible customer service, consistently slower delivery times then the estimated delivery time, very often they cancel orders that take 5-10 days to actually refund your money to you. I think if the order takes longer than the estimated time there should be a partial refund like on DiDi food. It has good selection and like 1 out of 5 deliveries is great. But it’s not worth the hassle of 4 frustrating, slow deliveries.",

          "body": "I was really hesitant to use rappi at first but a friend insisted. Once I started I am hooked. I am very busy and rappi helps with everything! From going to the market for food, bringing breakfast, coffee and lunch to work, to picking up my dry cleaners, buying meds in the pharmacy, even buying a baby shower gift on one occasion, bringing cash from the ATM, picking up my contact lenses and paying for them, and now I can donate food packages during the pandemic. Yes, fruit is not ideal for them to bring, but when you have no time one or two super ripe bananas doesn’t affect me as much as having no food in the house does. You can ask them to bring food from any restaurant you want and not have to rely if the company works with them or not. Many Hunan and Shake Shack purchases made like this. I highly recommend. Of all the times I have used it, about 5-6 times have I received the order slightly off- a pepperoni less, an order askew, no knives and forks, etc but rappi has always helped in refunding those times.",

          "body": "Took a month to even be accepted to create an account. When I tried signing up I then received “We’ve got your request and we’re on it!” After that nothing! It wasn’t until I wrote a review on here stating my issues that I was finally able to create an account. Rappi customer service is horrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone! Since Saturday I have been trying to place an order with no luck. My orders keep getting cancelled stating my account violates terms and conditions. They have charged me 5 times to verify my account and still it does not work. One of the many orders I tried placing I was charged for and then it cancelled but I was still charged and now have to wait 5-10 days for my refund. Customer support through the app is useless. They tell me to wait a few hours and my account should work and yet it does not. They then proceed to close my complaint listing it as resolved and again I start over with the exact same outcome. There is no way to speak to a live person even though they advertise 24/7 customer support. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of customer support/service is unbelievable. If I didn’t have to wait for my refund my account would already be cancelled.",

          "body": "I have been using this app for almos 6 months now on a daily basis. I have used it as much as 5 times a day. I use it for the convenience yet needs much improvement when it comes to “communication.” Support is fast and good if you pay for the membership, and they have so far taken care of any issues. The problem is that 1 in 3 orders is wrong or missing something. Now keep in mind I use it every day 3 times a day or more, this means that one of my orders will be an “issue” everyday. It would be okay if it was once every other week or so. The other issue so to say is, all my orders are usually from the same places and the same order. Once there are 3 strikes I choose another place but the problem persists and it is very time consuming having to contact support and complain all the time. I do not like people that complain so much and now I am that person. I do think service can improve as far as always getting orders wrong or with missing items. Who is responsable to check an order prior to being sent/delivered, the driver or the restaurant? Neither will take the “blame” or responsibility.",
