3/5Inconsistent (UPDATED)
EDIT: This last update seems to fix many of the app’s issues, where I’m not losing scrobbles often if ever. But for some reason there’s now another crucial missing feature that seems to be removed for no obvious reason? There used to be a way to scrobble using the album artist, and now there isn’t a way. All of those featured tracks are messing with the way my library is tracked. Along with having to constantly reset the app, I don’t understand why it always seems to be two steps forward, one step back. This app’s success relies on accurate scrobbling, and it shouldn’t be too difficult to ensure that works, right? Very strange choices. *** The developer chose to rely on background refreshing, which doesn’t always work. Apparently a manual option used to be available but is no longer for some odd reason? If you’re meticulous about your scrobbles, I wouldn’t waste your time on this app. It’s a good price, but there doesn’t seem to be urgency to fix any of its design problems.

2/5Broken
The last few updates have effectively killed this app for me. They removed the feature to Drop Tracks, which helped when I synced my phone to iTunes because the app would duplicate plays from my laptop. The app also no longer has a self-refresh, so you have to wait and hope that the app refreshes itself, so you have no real way of knowing if it grabbed your recent plays. The app also fails to load tracks that were played if the app was not open in the background, which means I have lost many scrobbles. The app doesn’t allow the user to decide whether to disable background app refresh when on low battery mode, which also means I have lost many scrobbles; even though I would like to have the app still refresh in the background no matter my battery percentage. Overall, when this app DECIDES to want to work, it is decent. But as it stands, the app needs many changes to become a 5 star app—especially if they are charging money!

2/5Unfortunately stopped using this great app after this update
Been using quietscrob for about a year since it’s the only one I can find with no scrobbling issues. Unfortunately after this new update I guess the way they count scrobbles is different and flawed since I was missing about 1/3 of the music I listened to after a week of the new update. It pauses scrobbling on low power mode too with no warning, which was something that was never an issue before. Hopefully there’s a new update that’s coming that can fix some of these problems but until then it looks like I’m going to have to go to the last fm app :(

5/5Great update was a nice surprise
I’ve been using this app as my primary scrobbler for several years now. While the app mostly continued working, I had figured after a couple years without updates that the app was no longer in active development. I was positively surprised to see the recent update and I have to say the redesign is excellent. The app’s appearance is greatly improved and modern, and the background app refresh improvement is a very nice touch. I haven’t tested scrobbling non-library tracks yet but that is also a great feature. I recommend adding a tip jar to the app because it was the first thing I looked for when I saw the update—I would be happy to donate after years of use and this recent overhaul!

1/5DO NOT PURCHASE / NON-WORKING
i was really hopeful downloading this app in finding a way to scrobble from apple music in the background. it worked briefly, but after using up my 200 free scrobbles and upgrading to unlimited scrobbles quietscrob began double scrobbling every single track i listened to. i tried using the "ignore plays on other devices" option, delete all other scrobbling apps, basically tried everything and it's still happening. i've been testing it and it has consistently double scrobbled every song i've listened to in the last week. if there is a way to get a refund, please give me my money back LOL !!! support updates are no longer provided for the app and you will regret spending your money on this app which theoretically works great but will fail you and double everything you listen to.
