tl;dr An incredibly creative and well crafted browser with tons of potential from a developer who cares I want to start by saying, I can’t believe this app doesn’t have more attention. I was reading an article that popped up talking about this app. It sounded unique and immediately piqued my interest when it mentioned “customizable browser”. I honestly have been looking for something like this for years and I’ve tried everything but nothing could convince me to stay. I ended up sticking with Safari purely because of continuity, a slightly feeling of minimalism, and functionality. However, Quiche is truly unique with its simplicity. Just the mere fact that you could move the back button to the other side of the address bar sold me. Along with that, there’s tons of other options and ways to make it your own. The cherry on top for me was the care from the developer. I had a couple questions regarding some functionality in the app and was able to contact him directly through his instagram. He took the time to answer my questions along with taking any feedback and requests. Sure, the browser is missing some things but I’m not worried in the slightest that it will stay that way. 5/5Great alternative to existing browsers
I’ve found this browser while I was searching for an alternative to Safari on Reddit. The greatest strengths of this browser are its minimalism and customizability. As soon as I opened the browser for the first time, I really liked the minimalistic design of the browser. It doesn’t feel “gimmicky,” unlike most other browsers I have used. I like Safari for that reason as well, but unfortunately, it lacks the customizability that this browser has. In terms of customizability, the browser allows you to customize which functions to include on the taskbar and there’s a lot of them to choose from. You can even choose different types of toolbars. Not only that, there’s a lot more other things you can customize, such as whether you want to display the keyboard automatically when you open a new tab. When it comes to speed, in my personal experience, it feels fast. I compared against Safari and Brave, and to me Quiche browser felt just as fast as Safari and a bit faster than Brave. Although this browser is still in its early stage, it’s already very useable and I find myself using it more than other browsers. Of course there are things that it could improve upon, but the developer is very responsive and cares about user feedback, which I appreciate a lot. P.S. I think it’d be great to be able to adjust the size of the address bar as well.

5/5Fantastic Browser, I’m In
I switched to Zen browser on my laptop in an effort to support open source development that defies Google’s monopoly. In breaking my Chrome relationship, I figured might as well switch my mobile browser too. I didn’t expect much, but this app has absolutely blown me away. Not only is it an adequate replacement for Chrome, it surpasses most other mobile browsers’ functionality in almost every way. It looks better and the customization options are brilliant. Adblock is built in, and I feel safe and secure without all my data in Google’s hands. I highly recommend. On top of this, the dev seems really sweet and dedicated to making this a functional, beautiful, and fully personalizable app. While I haven’t interacted with them directly, the design of the app, the responses on the reviews, and their accessibility for questions and comments is astounding. Everyone should switch right now!

5/5A Breath of Fresh Air
As someone who values online privacy and security, I've been on the lookout for a web browser that puts my data protection first. After trying out the Quiche Browser, I can confidently say this app is headed in the right direction. The core selling point of Quiche Browser is its unwavering commitment to user privacy. By default, it blocks ads, trackers, cookie banners, and other intrusive elements that compromise your online privacy. What's more, Quiche Browser does not collect any usage data or personal information, nor does it require you to create an account. This zero-data collection policy is a refreshing change from many mainstream browsers that monetize user data. One area where Quiche could improve is cross-device synchronization. While the app works well on a single device, the lack of iCloud or other cloud sync support means you can't easily access your bookmarks, history, and settings across multiple iOS devices. Implementing secure sync capabilities would make Quiche an even more compelling privacy-focused browser option. Overall, Quiche Browser is a solid choice for users who prioritize online privacy and want to minimize their digital footprint. With its robust ad/tracker blocking and data non-collection policies, it provides a clean, distraction-free browsing experience. While the absence of cross-device sync is a limitation, Quiche is still a step in the right direction for privacy-conscious mobile browsing.

5/5Reloading issue
This browser is really great, but there is an issue in reloading. When you reload, it sort of gets stuck, and whether that is a WiFi issue or a browser issue, it is not the main problem. The problem is that when you try to scroll down on the page while reloading (which most browsers allow you to do) it starts the reload bar back from the start and it goes back to the top of the page. When that happens, for some reason it just doesn’t reload and the reload bar is stuck. It might be a WiFi issue but I personally think not. I heard that you address suggestions from the comments in your updates so that’s why I’m sending this review. Other than the probably rare problem, I think this is a really great browser and would recommend buying it to anyone. Also, for some other feature ideas, you could make it that when you reload, the reload button turns into an X button and you can cancel the reload, like other sites let you do.
