1. 5/5Finally! Access to recorded Qariahs!

   I am so grate that this app has been created. I have been looking for something like this for the past few years and could not believe that before this recordings of women Quran reciters didn’t exist or were nearly impossible to access. Having this on my phone has really changed Ramadan for me this year and made it so much easier to listen to Quran being recited in a way that touches my heart and that I can relate to- and the best part was that it is with me wherever I go! I love the diversity in backgrounds, ages, physical ABILITIES (that touched my heart the most!), tomes- historic and recent, and the differing Maqamaat. The app is a beautiful reminder that there is beauty to be found in all the different ways that the Quran will be recited and that all are Blessed and appreciated. Here are the features I particularly appreciate: Seeing a photo and brief info about the recited and where she’s from. I love having the option to save my favorites I love the opportunity to hear a Syrah or let’s of it by different reciters and look forward to when there will be more recordings of the full Quran by these reciters and more Insha’Allah (I think currently it’s just one who has the entire Quran recorded) The streaming feature is so nice. Sometimes I don’t know which surah or which reciter to choose, so I really enjoy just being able to head different clips. On the iPhone I can play this app while having other apps open, which is super helpful. Finally, I appreciate how easy this app is to navigate. It’s simplicity makes it so much more appealing. 2. 3/5Constructive criticism

   It’s a great idea and I hope Allah rewards you all for the hard effort and dedication. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review, but I felt this was something that touched me deeply and I really hope to see it flourish in the best way possible. I admire the diversity and encouragement. I would however like to mention that the Quran should be read in a certain way with very accurate pronunciation and I believe posting certain readers for the sake of diversity although very noble and probably done with pure intentions, does not present the Quran in the way it should be presented. Also I admire the idea of having recordings from old women who have passed away. The quality of these recordings however are very poor and may better serve in a tribute section created for that specific purpose. I am sure there are many talented Female Egyptian readers out there that you can reach out to who would be thrilled to join this project. Last but not least I am not a fan of the recordings for just certain aya’s. I would very much enjoy being able to listen to the whole surah and hopefully one day the whole Quran by a single reader that I connect with if possible. Again this is meant as constructive criticism and by no means meant to belittle your effort on this very much needed project.

3. 5/5Mashallah I am so impressed!

   I have been waiting for the app to launch and I finally opened it today, like another reviewer…tears came pouring. I’ve never seen Qariahs and therefore myself as a woman fully represented in my religion the way men get to (I didn’t even know Qariahs existed!). To be 35 yrs. old and for the first time seeing and hearing women Qariahs thanks to this app is powerfully healing, but sad to think it’s been hidden from me my whole life bc of the patriarchy. I hope this will allow my 4yr. old niece be able to have a closer relationship to Allah while growing up because of powerfully visible, audible female representation thanks to this app existing. Thank you to the app creators! I am so moved and inspired by your devotion to Allah and desire to uplift women and girls.

   I am a 13/almost 14 year old girl and I have always wanted a beautiful Quran voice. I’ve tried to listen to male reciters but it never works because I have a much higher pitch and a women’s voice is different then a man. Now that I am able to reference a women’s voice, I feel lots of joy as it was my first time hearing lots of women recite Quran. I believe it really helping as I copy their tone. I realised I was flat when reciting so at least I realised my problem and hope to fix it. 🥰🫶 (I would do anything for a video on tips to recite the Quran in a beautiful tone like the women in the app and also a place it follow along with them + a translation)

   Listening to and reciting Quran has been a source of anxiety for me after years of spiritual trauma. Upon opening this app and seeing this seemingly endless list of Qariahs from around the world, I began to cry tears of joy. From the first recitation I heard of Surah Fatiha, I knew that this was the beginning of my journey to healing. Each of the reciters have such beautiful voices Masha Allah. May Allah grant everyone involved in the making of this app happiness and comfort in this life, and the highest level of Jannah, and keep us all on the straight path. ❤️❤️❤️
