5/5Incredible
Not only does it sync effortlessly with Plex and immediately across my devices, but it was built by someone who loves audiobooks. It was the easiest money I've spent on an app since Anki. The app is sleek and packed with helpful features on both the iPhone and Mac Mini. The metadata from Plex (Audnexus agent) syncs over and looks amazing on here. There's many playback speed choices, a sleep timer, and a voice boost that works well. But the feature I love most is the bookmarking ability for notes. Previously with the "Books" app, I would have to screenshot where I was at in the audiobook for every note that I wanted to take (later when finished with the book). I would even add text to the screenshot sometimes in Markup, to make sure I filed the note correctly. But not anymore. Every audiobook "Summary Page" has three tabs below all of the book info: Chapters, Bookmarks, and History. And in the Bookmarks tab, all your bookmarks, along with any optional notes that you can type with them, are filed neatly, and the audiobook jumps to each bookmark when tapped. It's incredible and such a time saver from what I was doing. Incredible app. I'm sure I'll find more good things about after this first day of use.

5/5A must have for anyone listening to books on Plex
This app is better than audible or the plex app by far. The embedded chapters and bookmark features work really well. I’m disappointed with Audible on how very few books have titled chapters. With this app, however, I can take actually title my own books. Before finding this app, I always had doubts on whether my friends and family could easily use Plex for audiobooks. You had to know where to click on an audiobook to actually resume it. And for audiobooks with multiple files? Forget ever trying to resume your spot In an audiobook if you even thought about playing other media. I could live with all of those shortcomings, but I’ve always had the thought in the back of my mind that some of my family and friends would do better sticking with Audible. All those pain points are no longer a thing, and I can recommend using audiobooks with Plex now, thanks to this app. Also, the developer has been super responsive. I can tell that continuous improvement is important to him, and this gives me confidence in this app. Can’t say the same about Plex’s support for audiobooks (don’t get me wrong, I love Plex for movies and tv shows).

5/5Best solution for audiobook on Plex
I’ve been using this app for over a month now, and it’s been a game-changer! While others collect movies and TV shows, my wife and I are audiobook enthusiasts. We’ve amassed a huge collection, and managing it between Audible and the native iOS apps was a total hassle. I’m not a fan of those pesky ads and constant reminders to join services after I’ve already bought hundreds of books. So, I decided to give Prologue a try, and I’m so glad I did! Now, a month later, my wife and I can easily access our shared content through this app from our Plex server. We upgraded to the Pro version so we can download books to our phones and iPads. Of all the features I love, the reading speed is the most used. This is a feature that the native Plex app doesn’t support. I usually listen at around 1.2x to 1.5x speed, while my wife prefers a bit faster at 2x. This app keeps all of our reading progress and settings separate. The reading lists are great, and the overall layout is super easy to navigate. Highly recommend this app if you’re looking for similar features.

5/5The Exact App I’ve Been Looking For
I much prefer purchasing my audiobooks directly from services like Downpour, but the players provided by vendors are often subpar. In the past, I've attempted uploading them to Overcast, but this process becomes tedious and restrictive for certain audiobooks. However, I've been using Plex Pass for years and have been storing my audiobooks there for organizational purposes. Now, with Prologue, I have an excellent way to play my audiobooks across my devices with seamless synchronization! I listen from both my phone and my computer (using the iPad app). The free version offers generous audio streaming from your Plex server, which may be sufficient for some users. However, the aforementioned audiobooks can take a bit longer for my server to deliver when I have a poor internet connection. The paid version is more than worth the investment. Since my entire family is avid readers, I opted for the Family edition, which allows my kids to access their books from their iPads as well.

5/5Absolutely Wonderful
The amount of joy that this app brings me is immeasurable! Finally a way to easily get audiobooks onto my phone without having to convert and manually sync files! This has skyrocketed my audiobook listening, and reignited so much dormant interest in maintaining my narrative audio library as a whole. The Premium upgrade has been a no-brainer, and I find the price amazingly fair for the features included. Love the album art color matching in the player, and the progress bars. My only feature request would be keeping more details about what date I finished listening to something, and the option to set that manually. I've accidentally mis-tapped a chapter of a book I've already finished, and marking it finished makes it look like I've JUST completed it. But outside of adding manual and automatic completion date data, I am over the moon about this app and use it every single day.
