  1. 5/5Fantastic app i have an idea to improve it

been using the app for three days only way I can think to improve it is if you could scan your receipts from restaurants that you go to, so you go to McDonald’s and get two cheeseburgers. If you scan the receipt, it’ll automatically put the calories into your tracker. just a thought to improve the app otherwise it has been very helpful starting on track for the new year

  2. 2/5It’s fine

Several issues I’ve run into. Adding a widget to my home screen but it’s just a white box, no data is actually shown. My partner and I linked our accounts but they’ll just randomly disappear or disconnect. When I try to look at what my partner has left for calories for the day when I go to cook, it shows the combination of that day and the previous day so it sometimes shows me that he’s 2,000 calories over which is not correct. You can’t scan things for a day or two ahead of time, I meal prep so this is super inconvenient and requires me to keep packaging even though it’s empty just so I am able to scan it the next day, super annoying. Can’t input weight or carbs/fats/proteins using a decimal, this would be super helpful when tracking weight but it will only let you input whole pounds. There’s no way to bookmark recipes. No explanation on why you’re being told to eat a certain amount of calories, if it would give you a reason/math it for you after you input your information that would be super informative. Scanning food seems to be fairly accurate but the rest of these issues makes it a super annoying app to use. Update, now my partners account which I have linked is no longer updating, same thing for him looking at mine. Hasn’t updated for two days

  3. 1/5Beware Refund promise not true

Update: Over 3 months after this review the developer said they would forward it to the appropriate department but still no refund. This app still has stolen money and the developers do not care. When looking at this app I had to purchase to try anything. I. The purchase section it said there was a money-back guarantee so I was willing to give the $20 for a year a try. I tried the app and found a ton of features that do not work how I expected or were missing entirely. Within 2 days I decided this was not the app for me. I emailed the developers and they told me it was not their problem to refund and I had to go to AppleSupport. After going through AppleSupport both the refund and the review request was denied. The money back guarantee was not honored. I am now out the money for an app that doesn’t work with the Apple decision being stated as final and the developers not willing to help.

  4. 4/5So far good for me

The app is great—logging food is quick and easy, and the AI scan feature is awesome. I really enjoy using it! That said, I do have a couple of suggestions that would make it even better: 1. Calorie adjustments for exercise: Currently, the calories burned for workouts are preset. For example, if I do 30 minutes of power walking and actually burn 357 calories, I can’t manually input that number because it’s fixed at, say, 320. It would be helpful to have the ability to enter the exact amount burned. 2. Macronutrient adjustments: When exercise calories are added, the total daily calorie goal updates—which is great—but protein, fats, and carbs stay the same. It would be more accurate if those could adjust proportionally based on the added calories. For now, I’ve given it 4 stars. Once those improvements are added, I’ll gladly update my review!

  5. 1/5Update is broken

The recent update that was automatically installed today is completely broken and lacking nearly all the features that made this app useful. Units are completely wrong and make no sense, precise units for all inputs are necessary, but still are WAY off (5-10x). The new AI photo analysis update may work (haven’t tried it), but I never used that anyway. It’s crazy that a major overhaul update was released without any testing. There’s no way anyone tested this at all. I hope this gets reverted immediately until someone tests the update. I’m unable to log even a single, simple item. The subscription I paid for is effectively wasted until the app is fixed.
