1. 5/5D30 label maker Software

   The Phonememo D30 is a good small size label maker, and Printmaster is the app that powers it. There is a basic choice as the first step — which mode to use: Lite or Creative. Selecting creative allows you to customize your labels and is the one I use all the time. The navigation is slightly confusing (I looked for a “submit” or “next” button for a bit before seeing the checkmark near the top of the screen. That’s how you move from one screen to another while making your labels.), and the instruction manual could be more detailed, but once I figured things out—a quick process— everything worked very smoothly. I’m pleased with the labels and the only problem I’ve had after the first couple of minutes of confusion, is figuring out where on the website I can order rolls of labels with the cute cartoon cats on them. 😺 I can recommend the printer and this app without reservation. It’s a good deal and a very functional label maker. Thanks, Phonememo! You’re helping me get my creative room organized!!

2. 4/5Not Designed for iPad Use

   I will never understand why these type of apps are all designed for phone use only. Having to rotate an 11” tablet on end just to print a label is a pain so I hope the dev can understand why this should be fixed. Also, it takes a long time to scroll through the options because of their large sizes which isn’t necessary. If we need to see something larger, we should just be able to tap on it for this. Leaving them all large to scroll through is poorly thought out. Same for the fonts, they don’t need to be so large and we can see the size in a preview. I do like that we can choose our own custom made designs however, that is a nice touch. Images it rasterizes to work with the printer so they loose definition and you need to keep them simple. Still, that I can create my own logo or design in an art app, save it, then use it with this software is something I like. The printer itself is a much better quality than expected so this is another thing about it that made it worth the money. As long as the label tapes are easy to obtain and are not expensive, this was over all a good buy. Sometimes less is more and the Dymo brand one I purchased wouldn’t print at all. It was fancier with a full keyboard, more expensive, but this little guy works and that is what I needed.

3. 1/5Nice Label Maker, App Itself Basically Unusable—UI Always Freezing, Crashing

   Wanted to give this ☆☆ just because the label printer itself is nice and when you are finally able to print labels, they look great. Alas, the fact that the app is essentially UNUSABLE while trying to make custom labels—FREEZING & CRASHING EVERY SINGLE TIME—is the only thing that matters…and the reason for the ¹⁄₅ rating—ATROCIOUS. As for the label printer, though, it at least has long battery life and prints in good quality. It has a lot of adjustable features that can be adjusted directly from the printer. Very versatile as well, with a lot of different options in terms of label sizes/colors/textures/types available. However, this is the only app that allows you to use the label printer and print labels from your iPhone—and that is unfortunate. Because the app is so bad—you can barely use the printer. I have yet to use it once without it freezing every single time I choose an option to edit a label, and it will eventually just stop working altogether, not allowing you to select or edit any of the components you added to your custom label—forcing you to close the app, which causes all progress to be lost, meaning you must start over. Which means this: get ready for the UI to just freeze up and the app to crash all over again…and again and again and again and again.

4. 5/5LIFE CHANGING ORGANIZATION!!

   Nothing but PURE LOVE & genuine adoration to the creators of this app & the SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT in my day-to-day + long term storage QUALITY OF LIFE!! App DOES have some new challenging twists to it, switching the label templates for instance from inches to centimeters, making my old way of identifying label templates much more difficult, But as for the ease of use of this app the SECOND you power up ur label printer it connects instantaneously, custom fonts, borders, etc, When first installed actually used it to create ARTWORK using black&white images I would edit in Snapseed, save to my photos, & EASILY upload + print customer designs + hysterical inside joke “stickers” (white/opaque) for my family & friends The investment I made in my Phomemo M200 label printer 3yrs ago was likely 1 of the BEST most VALUABLE purchase in terms of long-term payoff and profit of function. And this app is ESSENTIAL to use of that printer, therefore it’s just as valuable an asset as the investment in the label printer was, & it’s free✅✌️ Can glitch and be slow sometimes, yes. But nothings perfect, except the final results once you’ve put in the effort and made labels for ALL boxes in storage unit & paint labels for swatches, instead of messy handwriting on sloppy taped on post it notes that tear off, lol The RESULTS speak for themselves, so I forgive the app any minor technical issues and easily, 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thnkx guys!❤️

5. 2/5I used to love it

   I bought the machine in March and it started lagging really bad a few weeks ago to where it would take me 45 minutes just to create a new label because it wasn’t recognizing anything I touched and then it wouldn’t drag and it would catch a different part of the label and I spoke with support, uninstalled, reinstalled, reset machine with pin hole. Went to print my labels that are needed immediately… and now it won’t print them from the app because it says I need a subscription… which I have and most recently renewed on the 20th. I even tried using the free fonts just to get these on my products and out the door… keeps saying I need subscription. I tried paying for it AGAIN just to get my products out the door!! Says I’m already paying for one!! Tried to cancel subscription and resubscribe… still the same old thing over and over again!! I’m losing money and the customer support who was responding quickly, suddenly dropped off after I sent all of the screenshots and proof of my issues and wouldn’t u know it, customer support isn’t available on Sundays via the telephone!! I’m so aggravated at this entire situation and app that it’s wild!! Good luck!!!
