4/5Great app, but needs favorite location capability
I use this app everyday to order my coffee ahead to pick up and love it. The one thing that is surprisingly missing is the option to choose a favorite location. I order from the same shop every day and I always have to scroll through the long list of available shops in order to select mine. It would be great and much more efficient (especially when you are trying to order from the subway before losing service) to just be able to default to your usual shop or at least have a favorite shop to easily select. The order history is kept using the “order again” function so it is not a far push to keep the shop history. Thank you!

3/5Subscription is great but technology is far behind
I’m a heavy coffee drinker and I love the Pret subscription. However, the app experience is so inconsistent and malfunctions all the time. There are many nice-to-have functions that I wish the app had but I understand they take time to develop. I’ll just focus on all the errors I have encountered so far. 1. Options not showing up in customization page. This happens very often. Once you choose your drink to customize, all the milk, flavor, add-on options won’t show. Instead, you can only see the circles next to those options. 2. Not available error. This happens either when you are selecting a location or an item. The app will process your selection for a bit then errors out. 3. Store not receiving order and multiple confirmation emails. This started happening more recently, specifically at the Broad Street location. When you place an order and then go to the store, they will not have your order. And instead, you’ll have to show the confirmation page on the app and verbally tell them what you ordered so that they can make it for you. And I noticed that when this happens, I would get a confirmation email from that particular order every 10 minutes for an hour or two. 4. The online ordering has been down all day today 10/3. The app shows “Pret Pick Up is Closed”.

1/5Good food, lousy app
Updated: This app just gets worse and worse. Just spent half a hour trying to get it to accept any password at all. New, old, autogenerated by Apple, with all the right characteristics (12 characters, really? It’s a food app not crypto.) Ugh. Still like the food though. I have eaten at Pret maybe two or three times a week for years. I love the food. But this app is terrible. I have got it to work maybe twice? And I try most days! Each time I tap on a location— and there are about five in walking distance from my office in NYC—the app tells me something went wrong. I’ve closed and reopened the app. I’ve restarted the phone. No dice. Also both times that I got it to work the food was not ready, and one of the times they were completely out of the soup I ordered and the order was cancelled and I was never informed. I’d stop going if it wasn’t for the food, which I guess the important thing.

4/5A little frustrating
I ve do enjoy using the app as it is convenient when I’m running short on time & need to order so I can quickly pick up and be on my way. Though I can say I’ve become a little frustrated in the fact that one, you can really favorite a location for quicker selection or when the gps doesn’t accurately show what’s closer. I also feel it doesn’t accurately show what that location has available. There have been times I went to order ahead and wanted something that said it was available only to go to pick up to find that it’s not so I have to choose something else, which is fine but there’s the issue on if I didn’t want anything, there’s no way for them to refund you back. You have to email the customer service which is its own issues. Lastly, why get rid of Apple Pay when you still have Google Pay listed as a payment option? I have to add my card and use a portal to pay which honestly is not more effective or secure in my opinion. It also takes so long for it to load. So it’s not really convenient anymore.

1/5Terrible, Slow App!
This app is terrible because it doesn’t function properly. When you get to the payment page and input your credit card information (which, by the way, has to be entered manually on Apple devices because they don’t accept Apple Pay despite accepting Google Pay 🙄), it just sits there and spins its wheels until the screen shuts off without actually submitting your order. When the whole point of the app is to order ahead and you can’t even do that due to the app’s failure to accept orders and payments, it’s pretty useless.
