   I teach many styles of class from Seniors to Step to Pilates. This app has music for all types of workouts that are reliably good. My only criticism is I can’t create my own files on the app for different types of workouts. It would be much easier when I get to the class if I could just run through all the step music I like when I am going to be teaching step. Instead I need to go through ALL the music I’ve chosen, which slows me down. Hopefully they will create this capability.

2. 2/5The app works fine but big issues with subscription process

   I tried to cancel my subscription this month, thinking I would still be able to access the music through the end of the month. (Apple states that this is the policy under the subscription info in my phone). This is actually not true, and you lose access as soon as you cancel. So there is some discrepancy between the app developers and Apple. After trying to restart my subscription, I was unable to get any access to the music. Each time I tried to play music, the app would inform me that I needed to subscribe. When I would click “subscribe”, it would tell me I was already subscribed. I tried this several times and it didn’t work. So I contacted customer service and they directed me to the website, through which I unsubscribed with the old account and set up a new account. That one worked fine. However a few days ago I was billed for the old account anyway. I contacted customer service again and they told me they couldn’t refund me and I had to go through Apple. I attempted to get a refund through Apple. As soon as I submitted my refund request with a description of why I was asking for one, my request was immediately denied. So it seems like there are issues with either the app itself, or Apple, or both, and no one will take responsibility for this. I’d really like a refund but it doesn’t seem possible. I would not recommend this app for that reason. Unfortunate because the app itself was pretty nice.

3. 4/5Speed control rocks, settings could use some tweaking

   As a fitness instructor, being able to control the speed of my music is a must, and the best feature of the app. Locking the BPM works beautifully. I also love the ability to create custom non-stop mixes. No other music app does that. Here are the issues I have with the app: the display settings on my albums keep defaulting away from my preferred alphabetical and back to most recent. Also, I wish I could search and add music on a computer. Having to do it on my small phone/iPod screen is less than ideal. If I could add a third device, my iPad, I could at least search on a bigger screen. The final issue I’ve run into is needing Wi-Fi. Even though I can download music to play offline, I have to be signed in to the app to do so, and signing in requires a signal (which, to be fair, the app provides by prompting me to use my phone as a hotspot, so whatever). Overall, the app works well enough, with a few annoyances.

4. 3/5Good song selection, not that reliable

   I have used this app for over a year. Overall it’s great for exercise instructors or those who work out regularly who want a variety of music. However, there are bugs and those make the app unreliable at times. I ended up getting another app as backup. I have reached out to the company letting them know, and the bugs on both the app and the website have not been addressed. Sometimes songs do not load on the app, meaning the entire playlist will not load, let alone play. I do like that they have a desktop option for making playlists, but their website is even more buggy. I wish they would take feedback more seriously. However, given the variety, usability, and option for building playlists with a computer I tolerate it (for the most part).

5. 2/5Too many glitches

   I definitely agree with others that this would be a great app IF it was reliable rather than so glitchy. There was a recent update and now if I edit a Clickmix, it starts blending in the old song even though that is no longer the song that should follow. Then there’s a skip and the song that should follow comes in. It really ruins the momentum in class. This is not the first time this issue has happened. Before, I had to add a different mix to the player, close the app, restart my iPad, reopen the app, and reload the clickmix I wanted to play in order for the transition to blend in the correct song. Well, that “fix” doesn’t even work this time. Please please pleeeease make this app consistently reliable. I’ve been using this app for years and have experienced several issues, it’s very frustrating and time is overdue to explore other options.
