This update contains the following bug fixes: - Fixed the lyrics text selection color in info not using adaptive colors. - Possible fix for a crash related to retrieving the cloud status for albums and artists. - Fixed search hits, albums and playlists displaying cloud items when "show items in the iCloud" is disabled.

This update fixes headers and footers from not appearing on devices running iOS 16.4.

Add scrolling lyrics to any song in your music library with Power Player 1.13 by using LRC files (requires iCloud): - Tap a lyric to set the playback time. - Countdown timers for instrumental parts. - View LRC files as static lyrics in the Info view. This update contains the following bug fixes: - Fixed lyrics sharing the same timestamp from not appearing. - Fixed a navigation bar issue when swiping to dismiss on iOS 17.

This update brings iOS 13 support: - A native light mode. - Transparent navigation bars for master screens. - A new set of native icons. - The ellipse menus have been replaced in favor of the new context menus. - Prominent Play & Shuffle buttons in detail screens. - iOS 13 users will get the native volume indicator instead of the Power Player indicator. In addition, the following bugs have been fixed: - Fixed empty space that could occur when transitioning to the now playing screen. - Fixed the wrong artwork from appearing when the artwork still had to be loaded from Apple Music. - Fixed the iCloud indicator from appearing below the now playing indicator on a grid layout. - Shuffling now selects a random index when selecting from a context menu in master. - Fixed a case where the player would disappear when changing songs. Lastly, there are little visual improvements: - The clear search button no longer appears when the search history is empty. - Column layouts no longer show additional separators when there are no more items to display. - Due to a layout bug in iOS 13, the tab bar will not be animated when animating to the now playing screen. Power Player 1.4 adds support for widgets on iOS 14: - Displays a section of the Home tab and supports all widget sizes. - Quickly play a song, open an album, playlist or Home section detail. Supports inline album switching. - Automatically rotates on the smart stack. Siri suggestions: - Siri can suggest to open a Home section detail. - Open a Home section detail with Shortcuts. Small visual improvements: - New icons for the Genres and Composers tab on iOS 14. - Removal of the now playing parralax transition when there is only one column. NOTE: Due to time constraints, a sidebar for iPadOS users will be added in the next version.

This update contains small tweaks to improve the widget experience: - Updated Smart Stack behavior in order to display the most relevant Home section. - Icons are added to indicate the Home section in the small widgets. - Updated the larger widgets' background.

Power Player 1.5 improves the playlists browsing experience with a redesigned tab: A NEW PLAYLIST BROWSING EXPERIENCE: - Playlists are grouped by folders, playlists made by you, smart playlists, genius playlists, On-the-Go playlists, Apple Music Replay and Apple Music for You. - Playlists are loaded in the background. HOME IMPROVEMENTS: - Improved empty handling. - Recently Played and Most Played will adapt its height when there are less than two items. - Music videos are displayed correctly when they are not part of an album. IMPROVED: - Improved memory performance. Power Player 1.6 features a brand new design for the Artists, Genres and Composers tabs that is more powerful to use. New Artist, Genres and Composers tabs (iOS 13+): - The new detail is sectioned into Albums, Songs, Music Videos, Appears On (Artists only) and Loved songs. - A full screen colored design with artist or artwork. - The tabs load data in the background like Home and Playlists. Other features: - Sorting and hiding options for the Home sections (iOS 14+). - Albums can be sorted by artist (iOS 14+). - The songs tab now loads data in the background (iOS 13+). Bug fixes: - Fixed a crash upon changing the search query. - Fixed emoji’s appearing incorrectly in the Playlist description. - Fixed a case where navigating the app would be hindered when swiping to close using a horizontal gesture.

Power Player 1.7 features a new full screen Now Playing experience with a bokeh-style visualizer: New Now Playing experience (iOS 14+): - The design is now full screen along with bigger buttons and text. - A bokeh-style visualizer that runs when music is playing. - A glyph of the current output device is shown like a HomePod, Apple TV and AirPods based on the device name. - An ellipse button is added to navigate to the album or album artist. - Data is loaded in the background. - Auto Screen Lock can be disabled when Now Playing is open. Is enabled by default. - When a music video is playing, a button to open the Music.app has been added. Bug fixes: - Fixed a crash upon opening the Home sorting options when Text Scaling is enabled. - Fixed compilations with an Album Artist not appearing in the Artists tab. - Fixed the Appears On section in the Artists detail not appearing. - Fixed a case where Artist artwork would not appear in the Artist detail header image. - Fixed Albums not opening through the Widget when the Albums tab is open. - Fixed a case where Power Player asks for music permissions upon first launch. - Reduced situations where the incorrect Status Bar color is shown in the Artists detail.

Power Player 1.8 is updated for iOS 15 and enables the creation of playlists along with improved playback and context menu actions. Playlist creation (iOS 14+): - Create new playlists in-app with a title and description. - Add songs to existing playlists. Playback: - The items to play are set in the background. - Context menu actions for playing items next and later. Now Playing: - Now Playing visualizer can be disabled in settings.app. - The output icon now displays Beats devices when using Bluetooth Audio and Mac devices using AirPlay (iOS 15+). Other Features: - Extra large widget for iPadOS 15. Improvements: - Navigate to albums and artists from context menu’s. - Share a Song, Album, Artist or Playlist via the context menu (iOS 15+). - Add non-library songs to library through context menu's. - Improved caching and memory performance. - Horizontal scrolling is disabled in the Playlists root when only one type exists. Bug fixes: - Fixed the finishing setup screen from reappearing when trying opening a modal. - Fixed the mini player from appearing when no song is playing. - Reduced times when the mini player is not visible while changing songs. - Fixed shuffle and repeat from being set to the music player’s default settings when new items are set to play.

This update enables the creation of new playlists together using SharePlay (iOS 15+). An Apple Music subscription is recommended for the best experience.

This update fixes a bug where Apple Music songs could not be added to a playlist using SharePlay.

Power Player 1.9 adds an info screen to retrieve various info on songs: - User activity: Rating, Loved, Play Count, Skip Count, Date Added and Last Played. - Album, Artist, Genre and Composer and navigate to their respective pages. - Song lyrics. - Multi column layouts for iPads large iPhones. Bug fixes and improvements: - Handoff the currently playing Apple Music song. - Fixed a delay when opening now playing with a different status bar color. - Fixed the status bar color when adaptive colors is disabled.
