Fix for crash when adding new wines.

Many great new features have been added to both the free and upgraded “Pro” version of Pocket Wine Pairing in this update. Here is a summary of the main features: Free App • Add as many photos as you like for each wine – front and back labels, photo of meal, restaurant wine list, menu, etc. • Ability to add a limited number of wines to the app. • Under the My Wines screen heading see your cellar stock, cellar value and the number of wines you have saved to the app. • Add a cellar location when entering a wine (e.g. Row 1) – enter that location in the search bar to view those wines. • View your wines in standard or tiled view on iPhone. • Sort button now includes Styles and Wishlist for added convenience. • New features make the app look even better on iPad. • No need to login and the app works offline. Upgraded “Pro” version • Unlock all grape varieties to expand your knowledge and repertoire. • Add an unlimited number of wines to the app. • Sync across devices – looks great on iPad. • A full Backup / Restore feature has been added to the More section. • Saved wines are automatically added to the relevant grape variety. • See your cellar stock and value for every grape variety, style and search result (including countries, regions and retailers). • With each meal type in the Food section see your cellar stock for all recommended grape varieties. • All features are included for a once only purchase price (no monthly or annual charges). We have revised and updated all of the app’s content, as well as adding five new grape varieties. We have also added a new FAQ section to answer your questions on various subjects, for example, “How do I sync my wines across devices?” This section gives you all of the information you need to get the most from the app. Here’s a summary of the update: • All content revised and updated. • Five new grape varieties – Jacquère (Crisp), Ribolla Gialla (Crisp), Nerello Mascalese (Smooth), Refosco (Smooth) and Baga (Powerful). • New FAQ section (under the More Tab on iPhone) to answer the most common general and technical questions.

The app has now moved to a subscription model with monthly ($0.99), annual ($5.99) and lifetime ($19.99) options. All previous purchasers of the full Pro version of the app have been granted lifetime status. The app content has been revised and update, with some bug fixes and a number of important improvements: • Styles tab now displays relevant cellar stats below each style - showing number of wines added, number of bottles in the cellar and cellar value. • Sort options on the My Wines tab have been extended to include Vintage (year). When vintage is selected your wines will be displayed from oldest to youngest. • A “Duplicate” wine button has been added next to the “Edit” button when a wine is displayed – very handy when you want to enter a new vintage of a previously added wine. • Five new grape varieties have been added – Frappato (Fruity), Malvasia Nera (Fruity), Susumaniello (Powerful), Thrapsathiri (Rich) and Vernaccia di San Gimignano (Crisp) – bringing the total number of grape varieties and blends in the app to 115. • Glossary content has been extended to include new terms, such as, Pét Nat. • Frequently Asked Questions section has been updated. It is highly recommended you read this section before using the app.

In this update: * Quick-view overlay data, on all wines in the My Wines tab, now includes country of origin and name of retailer. * Auto-save for text has been added so you never lose any of your entries, even if you forget to tap “Save”. * Two new grape varieties added: Koshu (Crisp style) the national grape of Japan and Gaglioppo (Smooth style) the signature grape of Calabria in southern Italy. * Some bug fixes.

In this update: * Search tool has been added to the Food tab, so you can quickly find the recipe and recommendations you want. * In the Food tab, the Style Guide for meal types now highlights your cellar stock of recommended grape varieties. Tapping on the relevant grape variety will display the stock available in your cellar. * New cellar feature has been added to all grape variety display screens – the number of ‘bottles in cellar’ is now flagged on the top right of the screen. Tapping this feature will display your cellar stock of the relevant grape variety. * Photo capture has been upgraded for improved performance, including full screenshot capture. You can now adjust the frame of your photos to select the image you want and, as before, you can add as many photos as you like to a wine (meal, menu, recipes, wine list, wine producer’s specifications, etc..). * Name of wine and producer are now automatically added to individual wine notes to facilitate recognition when sharing wines with friends and colleagues.
