1. 4/5Stand Alone Works Great but GC Integration Requires Patience

   I have two smart radar and run one for slow-mo capture and the other for automatic speeds into Game Changer. Minimal issues with stand alone app though sometimes there are issues capturing an entire bull pen release slow-mo. The phone is very hot obviously so this could be an issue with rapid succession of pitches and video processing. Maybe a way to pause processing and complete after session / while on charger would be advantageous. There is also some weirdness when starting the camera and trying to zoom in on hand release positioning. If you zoom too far, you end up in the wrong lens and then are unable to get back out to the better quality 240 fps lens. Maybe an option to select / switch manually instead of zooming and then opps, too far and into the next lens. Game Changer on iPad and app seem ro be hit and miss. Several instances where app must be closed, GC closed, app opened and initiated, and then open GC and get back into scoring. This causes anxiety and likely isn’t something an average user or streamer would understand how to resolve. Likely as much or more an issue on GC side but would strongly encourage taking a look and working those issue out with their Dev team.

2. 3/5Not as good as it should be

   It works really good when you open the app and just start using it. The problem starts when you pause or get out of the app, maybe between innings to conserve battery. The app doesn’t like to keep working when you get back in and try to continue. You have to shut it down and start a new session. The app essentially costs $100, since that’s how much extra you have to pay for the device to get it to work with the app. The app should be flawless considering the costs associated.

3. 2/5App is terrible compared to the old app but improving

   App has been getting better we still have some work to do. iPhone 14 pro max you can only record if phone is vertical not horizontal. Once u press record then buttons pop up horizontal. But because you do that it records 90 degrees left. Til you stop and hit record again. Also I know there’s a button to save but I didn’t have that option on there should be a way you can manually save it. Also I’ve tried to share a video but it just stays in preparing video it never is available to send. I hope to hear from you guys

4. 3/5App not great

   I purchased the more expensive version just to use the app to record video for pitches and have the mph embedded in the video. Sounds awesome. Sadly, it has NEVER worked. Not one time. So I would have been better off paying $100 less. You CAN save sessions and see each pitch and the average for the session which is helpful. Just feel duped as it’s been over a year and there has been no attempt to get this app to actually do what’s promised. Radar is fine.

   I have this app because I wanted to track pitch velocity on GameChanger. Connecting the two apps was easy. The one issue I had with the GC interface is the Bluetooth range seems very small. There were several times, with the PR right behind home plate and me scoring in the dugout, it would drop connection. Annoying. I never used the video feature, as my son is not a pitcher. Regarding the PRS app itself, I would use my iPad as a monitor for those wanting to see velocity but not sitting close enough to see the small PR screen. There would be games when the app would "pause" countless times...to the point I would shut it down altogether. I would stop/start the app or do a power cycle on iPad...maybe some temporary relief. Extremely annoying!! Barely average app.
