  1. 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Total Game-Changer for Everyday Memory, Notes, and Big Ideas!

I cannot praise the Pocket recording device enough—it has truly become an essential part of my daily life. I have early-onset Alzheimer’s, which can make remembering details and conversations a challenge. This brilliant little device has given me so much peace of mind. All I have to do is keep it charged every few days and remember to press the button to start recording. It is incredibly user-friendly. What really sets this apart is that it doesn't just record—it actually organizes and summarizes everything for me, making it incredibly easy to review the most important points without having to re-listen to hours of audio. It has been an absolute lifesaver in so many different scenarios: Brainstorming on the Go: I love using it during my daily walks. It’s the perfect time for me to clear my head and brainstorm ideas for both my business and my personal life. Instead of losing those great ideas, I just speak them right into the device. Medical & Professional Appointments: When I’m at the vet discussing a health issue for my dogs, or at the doctor’s office listening to complex medical terms, I just hit record. Instead of slowing the doctor down to ask for explanations, I can simply look up the terms later using the clear summaries it provides. Verbal Note-Taking & Scheduling: It’s ideal for capturing quick thoughts. I use it to talk through my daily schedule or make quick notes, and then I easily transfer that organized information into my Google Calendar later. Whether you need a reliable tool to help with memory retention, want to capture inspiration while out for a walk, or just need a seamless way to organize your day, the Pocket is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

  2. 1/5Bait and switch delivery

Still waiting to find out if it's worth all of the hype! Ordered at the website on 5/21 where it was advertised as "in stock" & "ships within 3 days". Once purchased, I immediately received an email advising that it wouldn't ship for 21-30 days!? I assumed it was an automatic message and it would ship as advertised within 3 since they were aggressively advertising their Memorial Day Sale on the website. 5 days later, still no shipping notification!? I try to call the phone number and no one EVER answers. EVER! I begin to wonder if I have been scammed. I decide to send an email & receive an AI response the first 2 times. I'm getting more nervous because I can't seem to reach a human & I feel completely duped! Finally, Simon responds 8 days after my order (where I notice that it's not even in the fulfillment stage yet, much less shipping). By now I'm ready for a full refund, but he offers 3 months of Pocket Pro & 2 years of extended warranty coverage. I agree to wait, but advise that I hope it comes sooner than later. It is now June 6th & my Pocket is in Vegas with "USPS Awaiting Item" with a "Shipping Label Created" and no delivery date pending. At this point, I am beyond disappointed with the customer service of this product. 3 months of Pocket Pro is a slap in the face when a 3 day turnaround was advertised at the time of purchase. I hope this Pocket is worth it. Plaud had better reviews but I thought I'd give this one a try. So far, NOT so good!!

  3. 5/5A brilliant tool, with immense potential

Technically, this hardware/software is solid. It captures data, and provides several models that analyze it. Irrespective of what industry you are in, the ability to synthesize information in a manner which allows conceptualize it and ultimately utilize it, is worth its weight in gold. In order for this application to reach its full potential there need to be two advances: 1) a transparent statement from the company pertaining to how data will be protected and 2) an ability for the data to be quickly and resolutely integrated into other software systems. In essence, security and movement will dictate the success of this technology. I hope the developers consider those two factors as they move forward. That said, excellent work, I look forward to seeing what’s next.

  4. 5/5Customize a Summary model for AI to fill! Amazing!

I grabbed this as a backup to my Notability app, because I would either leave class with it running, or accidentally stop recording during a critical review or lecture. What I found later simply impressed me. With the ability to build summary model, you can use this tool and its AI to adapt lectures or meetings to the way you want them organized. As someone with an attention disorder, this has made learning much more efficient. I'm actually able to participate more in labs and classes knowing that I have customized notes being generated for me to look back at later at home.

  5. 4/5Great start, lots of room to keep improving

This app is already pretty solid out of the gate, and the Pocket team shows promise in actively making enhancements. That said, there are some key things missing currently that make it really tough to give up Granola in favor of just using my Pocket. Most importantly is a custom “dictionary” feature. The AI summaries get my company name wrong all over the place and it’s a real bother to share notes with anyone because of this. Also I work with a large team of Indian developers and… let’s just say without a dictionary every single transcription butchers people’s names to the point that I’m not even sure who is being referenced. With that single fix this goes from a 4 star app and product to a 5 star must have app and product for anyone working a job with a ton of high stakes / fast paced meetings.
