  1. 5/5Surprisingly good

Only need to make a one time purchase. I know it sounds kind of silly and I was skeptical but I figured it was so cheap I wanted to give it a try. I was really happy with the results. Some of the songs don’t translate perfectly but tbh you can tell exactly what it is and do it yourself. Also was very fast. The whole process of moving my playlists took maybe 10 min? And I have about 15 playlists 3-4K songs total. Gave me a chance to sift through my music and actually reorganize what I do and don’t listen to. Worth a shot !!

  2. 1/5Exhibts dark patterns - AVOID

I was expecting a simple utility to import playlists, but what I got was subtle psychological manipulation. This is what happens: You download the app and get it to import a playlist. It chugs along meaningully, even suspiciously slow (hard work matching songs!) and then, SUCCESS! you can see the results of ihe import. Here i the first dark pattern. After the success, you are asked to rate the app. (no thanks, not now) the reason this appears at this point is because you haven't actually done anything useful, like import the data to Apple Music. When you do so, you're confronted with the limitation, 20 song max. Now, I could do 20 songs by hand, the point of an app like this is to import a mass of songs. Only at this point are you informed that this is a paid app. Why not just say this at the beginning? Well, it wants to put you through the work, go through the entire process of importing and THEN tell you it is a paid app. This is exploting the sunk cost fallacy. Because of this dishonesty, I feel manipulated and I will not be purchasing this app and I am writing this review to let the developer know that manipulating uses should never be rewrded. .

  3. 5/5A simple app that’s the best $4 I’ve spent in the App Store.

I had ChatGPT find music my mother would enjoy, 50s Elvis, Best Motown, etc.. I wasted a morning trying to build a shortcut that would read the ChatGPT text file and build the playlist. Finally I asked ChatGPT if there was an app available. I pasted a list of 20 songs into the Playlisty scratch pad (the free limit) and in seconds the playlist was in Apple Music. I’ve created four playlists with hundreds of songs each and Playlisty has performed flawlessly. Just an awesome timesaver.

  4. 5/5Better then SongShift!!

I tried Songshift, based on reviews and recommendations from other sites and wasted $6.99. It missed about 10-20% of my playlist songs… that Apple Music actually had! (even after showing me a match). Then I tried Playlisty and it caught and matched every song that Apple Music had… at less than half the price! Never missed a single one. I love the match list that you can edit and fix before final export. That saved me lot's of time and gave me peace of mind. Thanks Playlisty!

  5. 5/5Just What I Needed!

I have been trying to find some solid music to add to my library and this app has really done a great job at helping me put together new music that I love! I love the feature that not only checks Spotify/YouTube for music you like but it also pulls up other playlists of a lot of other sources for you to checkout as well which really takes a lot of the work out of me scraping the online world to find new stuff out there. I highly reccomend to anyone that enjoys music 100%
