1. 5/5Solves the biggest problem with Pickup Soccer

   In my opinion the biggest problem with pickup soccer is the pitch you play on. It’s hard to find a decent field and then when you do it’s likely private and you get kicked off within minutes. Not anymore! The whole idea behind this app is to find the best fields around and reserve them so you can enjoy high quality soccer without the risk of getting kicked out. Before this I would rarely play pickup during the week but now I’ll likely get out there several times a week!

2. 3/5Good but needs some improvements

   I’ve used the Matchday app to join some soccer pickup games, and while it has its strengths, there are a few issues that stand out. The app is convenient for finding games, and the fields are generally well-suited for play. However, at one of the fields, they host tournaments and evening games on a field designed for 7 vs 7 matches but allow 10 vs 10 teams. This overcrowding significantly impacts the quality of the game. It seems like they do this to get more money, as every player has to pay $9 per match. This makes the experience feel more like a cash grab than an effort to provide a good playing environment.

3. 5/5Finding pick-up soccer has never been easier🔥

   The app is easy to navigate and makes it simple to find matches. The fields are well-maintained and always have goals set up. Pennies for both sides. Thanks to the accountability rule, you can count on a full field when you show up. I have had that issue with other soccer meet up apps. The guys that run it are cool too. Shout out to Carlos!

   Just started playing soccer last year & got put on the app. Havent stopped playing once a week with them, fields are great, players are competitive & it's well organized so I just pay & play, dont have to worry about bringing soccer balls or anything else. You cant find anything better than Matchday

5. 1/5Useless account log-in system and in-game experience (htx)

   1. The app does not let you create an account. You can only access/book if you login through your google or apple account. Additionally, you can only register yourself and not a plus 1 which seems weak for group-sport organizing. 2. Upon going to my first game which happened to be a tournament, it was extremely unorganized and messy. Not to mention that there were multiple times in which normal tackles became outrageous shoves and early stages of fighting without any repercussions to any of the players involved. Overall chaotic and careless from organizers.
