4/5Great little piping app
After a week of use while checking a job, I love the way the calculator works integrating piping components and being able to continue a dimension string from catalog to calculator back and forth. This is so handy compared to spinning the old piping wheel! The calculator itself needs some attention with the store and recall functions not working like a real calculator. Clear button also needs to clear only the last input mistake, not everything! Frustrating when making a mistake along a string of dimensions and having to start over. I recommend to pipers trusting the app will continue evolving. June 2017 update improved the app more!

4/5Please update app to remove background grid lines.
Great app and super helpful. After the most recent update, background grid lines are too visible. Make it hard to read dimensions and other text. Please update! This is on an iPhone 7 plus. Will give deserved 5 stars when grid lines go back to how they used to be.

5/5Great app - and still getting better.
this is the BEST PIPING app on the app store. How do I know? Because I bought them all. And yes, most of them have mostly the same info. But this one is far better. Why? It never crashes!! Because it has some of the features built in that other apps charge for like pipe spacing, large bore flanges, etc. The built in fraction calculator is worth the cost of the app alone. This app has more fittings also. You will not regret buying this app. I got the iPhone 5 and this app works even better. Less scrolling to find the fitting or information. Thanks for updating. I use this app everyday. I am currently working in PDMS and the mm info is real handy.

1/5Not good.
First pipe fitting app. I pay for. Looked great. Appearances are deceiving though,, the items i do need the info on. It says that they are not on the DATABASE. The ones that are available. They are also on the free apps. This was a total waste of my hard earned money.

5/5Piping Abacus
I really appreciate having all this info in my pocket. I am a pipefitter and work in the field, not the office. It is very convenient to have this app on site and it all but eliminates any need I had for bulky, hard to keep up with, books and charts. Hello! I have no office. It takes a little practice to get ahead of the learning curve but it is not too difficult to figure out. Way more capable in scope than I have need for most days. I highly recommend Piping Abacus for the field hands reading this. You won't regret the purchase.
