  1. 5/5Best bowling stat tracker

Been using this app since I starting bowling again in 2017 (been 25 years since). Had to back up my data because I got a new phone and was terrified all my data wouldn’t transfer but it did and it was so easy to do. Provided you use it regularly like I do, it’s amazing to look back on high games and watch your average grow. Also tracks what ball you use for what game, notes to add for lane conditions/adjustments, and so much more. So glad to have found this and for anyone wanting to watch their average move over a 5 year span, this is a must have. No subscription needed, just a one time fee and it is so worth it. The Lite version was good but didn’t take me long to just buy the full version. Not disappointed one bit.

  2. 5/5Excellent App For Bowlers Of Any Skill Level!

I thoroughly enjoy using this app, and it’s helped me with my game. Friendly UI and easy stat sorting. Excellent work! Future updates/features to consider for the developer: possible addition of a set of editable and selectable yes/no question(s) that can be answered for each frame, which then gets compiled with statistics. For example, if I wanted to practice my balance that game, I would select “Did I keep my balance?” for that game (the same as you would select a ball or oil pattern), then each frame I would select yes or no, which would then be compiled into the stats for that question. Perhaps this feature could be able to be toggled on/off.

  3. 5/5Just right

Updated March 2022: this app has stood up to the test of time. I now have over 7000 games on the app and have gone from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 6S+. I highly enforce this app. I have tried many score keeping apps, but this is the one that has stuck. Ease of use is where pinpal shines. I stick my phone in my back pocket, pull it out, record my score and put it back, all before my ball returns. I have recorded over 3500 games on pinpal and I love it. Don't let the ease of use fool you, pinpal is a powerful statistic machine. All of the relevant stats are right at you finger tips: strike %, spare %, leaves etc... . Pinpal is a valuable tool for your game.

  4. 5/5Greatest App Ever

I've been using this app for the last 1,600 games. It's been incredibly reliable, cheap, and 85% of what I want on a day-to-day basis. I'd pay double the cost for a few more clicks into the stats categories (e.g. if I miss a spare I want to see what date that spare was missed so it's easier to find in my League/Tournaments selections; maybe able to change bowling balls on spares so I can see percentages of different bowling balls used at specific spares). But really, this is the most functional app I've ever owned for the money I spent and I'm forever thankful it was built.

  5. 4/5Great app!

It’s nice to see the developer updating the app after a few year hiatus. I’ve been a proud owner of this app for over 9 years, and have used it in every league I’ve been in since 2014. The app is fantastic in what it does. I really like the addition of the “makeable spare” category. One thing this app is missing that other scoring apps have is the ability to record your feet and mark position. Then you can record where your ball went in relation to your mark. Being able to see the percentage of throws you missed your mark, and what you left as a result would be a great teaching/learning tool. Adding Apple Watch support to record your frames would also be a phenomenal addition.
