1. 5/5Great Fountain. Minor Inconveniences.

   We have 9 cats. 2 dockstream smart fountains (black), each fountain can only sync up to 5 cats. We would love to be able to track all of our cats, on both of our fountains. It would give us a reason to buy the tags that are associated with tracking on Petlibro devices. We also are upset that we can only have one person logged into the app at a time. When attempting login on another device, it kicks us off of the other device & sign us out. It would be nice to be able to track the fountain needs from 2 separate phones while logged into the same account. Again. Minor inconveniences, but improvements to be made for sure. We are new to Petlibro, but so far, our cats have been loving your fountains! 9 cats have your approval. The fountains work very well, they are easy to maintain, disassemble, & clean. They are also very easy to refill. The fountains run very quietly, & we are happy with their design & aesthetic. Overall accuracy of the app, & recording of water intake has seemed to be very accurate from what we can tell. We are very happy with your products. We are leaving you with a 5 Star review with hopes that you improve upon your products & apps in the ways listed above! We would be happy to update/ upgrade later when that time comes! Thank you for providing fountains that our 9 cats love!

2. 5/5This feeder is helping to save my cats life.

   We adopted the cat that was severely overweight at 25 pounds. The previous owner would feed him table scraps and had a feeder that did not regulate his serving amount. With the help of this feeder and some other things, we are able to get his weight down to 17 1/2 pounds so far, and he has become a lot more active. One of the convenient things about the feeder is that it measures the food amount into 1/24s of a cup Which has allowed us to dial in the amount of food that he should have per day and set convenient feeding times for all of us. He will typically start bugging us for food somewhere around 5 o’clock in the morning. I set the feeding times with the feeder at 5 AM and 6 PM and we’ve gotten much better sleep ever since. When we are away for extended periods of time, I can use the app to make sure that the feeder is working. The feeder lets me know when the food is low and I can check the amount of charge that is left on the machine. I’ve had the feeder for over a month and only recharged it once and that was only because I just wanted to make sure it was fully charged before we took off for an extended weekend at that point it was at 85% charge. so far, so good I would and have highly recommended this feeder to friends.

3. 3/5Ok but could be better

   One of the biggest annoyances I have with this app is how light the text is. I have to have my brightness all the way up to be able to see the light grey text that’s pretty important info to see. I don’t know why those letters can’t be made easier to see, bigger or bolder or both. For people with bad eyesight it’s really, really hard to see what we’re looking at on the screen. Besides that, I’ve only had a few weird issues that seemed to resolve with updates. One issue was that the times kept duplicating in the app, so there were 2 entries for the same time for all 3 bowls and when it came time to feed I’d get an error message and it wouldn’t open. To fix that I’d have to cancel feeding, reset the feeder and add new feeding times. Every time. Resetting the machine is annoying because then I have to re-enter all the feeding times again. Little glitches like that happen in the app and it makes no sense how or why they even occurs they just do. I’m able to fix most issues myself due to customer service being mostly useless, and I like the auto feeders I just think there are small improvements that could be made to make it a better user experience. Please though, consider making the text easier to read.

   This is more of a review of the product than it is of the app. Although I will speak about the app first. The app is adequate, not as easy to use as you might think, but good enough. The one thing where it shined was the ease of connecting it with the Wi-Fi. Now on to the pet food cooler/dispenser. Petlibro does not appear to stand behind their products. When we reported that the two devices we Ing instead of responding with anything encouraging or willingness to help, they gave us a list of things to do that are busy busy and prevent us from returning the broken product. Everything works on the device except for the cooling. The lights, the buttons, the release, the rotating tray, it all works. Only the cooling doesn’t work. Instead of accepting our report, the cooling had failed, they started asking for us to check the fan to put a temperature on it and send them a video of us putting a thermometer on the tray, as if we can’t tell when something is cold and when it’s not. We bought two of the devices, they are identical, other than one is white and one is black. They have both stopped cooling. The fact that I have to post here, rather than have the ability to contact support is another piece of evidence that they don’t stand behind their product. If you want to buy their product, beware that you may not receive any support later on, or worse, you will get the runaround.

5. 3/5Great except with wet feeder

   It’s a great app, except with its connection with the wet food feeder which is what I use it for almost exclusively. It won’t register when it is scheduled to open and, even though the feeder does open, on the app it’ll still say “preparing” so then I’ll click the open button and it’ll make the bell sound to open. Then I won’t be able to close it early, I’ll click the open button again, and this time it’ll say “do you want to restart the manual feeding plan” so I have to do that to then be able to close it before the allotted time. It’s a small thing, but it’s annoying. Also, the positioning of the trays doesn’t align with the schedule I set. Sure, my cat is gonna eat all three meals anyway, but I like to set it so that it’s different between breakfast and lunch. The app doesn’t seem to register that I place the trays in a specific way to make sure breakfast, lunch, and dinner are set in the placements I want them to be in when I make the schedule, and I’ll wake up and see that the feeder has opened to the food I wanted to give my cat for lunch instead of what I wanted to give her for breakfast.
