1. 3/5It Used To Be A Great App

   I’ve been having this app for over 10 years. This app carried the information my cycles for all those years and other activities throughout the month. However, recently, as of summer or after summer 2022 the app had a major change that somehow I lost all my data even if I try logging in the information was lost. Suddenly out of the blue the data was back. I relied on this app for medical purposes and at some point, recently , again, my data was absolutely erased. I logged in and nothing is there anymore. I had very important information by dates and notes for medical follow ups and they are all gone with whatever update they have done. On top of all that now the app is requiring payment to avoid adds. It is not a one time payment for the features on the app it is a monthly membership or one time annual price. I am very sad to say I really like the app for years, but having all my data erased is not exactly something I’m happy about. Therefore, unfortunately I am no longer using this app.

2. 2/5It used to be a great app

   When I first downloaded this app many years ago, it was a great app. It worked great with charting everything that I needed and had enough space for notes of changes. Then a few years ago it updated and changed for no reason. I still don’t like it, but I was working with it, even though it lost all of my previous saved data. So all of my diary entries, charts of records, and info that I kept for doctors appointments was all lost. I still kept it and kept working with the new format that I didn’t like. Now it’s updated again for no reason and I’ve lost everything again. I previously had everything linked up with Facebook like the app told me to do to keep my info synced, but this new login doesn’t even have where I can sync with Facebook to pull up my old info. Everything I had saved in my app is gone again. Now I have to start all over again, but this time I’m starting again with a different app. I’m done with this one constantly having my records one day and then nothing, absolutely nothing, the very next day. Thanks for nothing. Update***** BHI Technologies messaged through here regarding how to restore data. Email addresses listed with the company came back rejected. Option they gave was not available on my device previously. App update is suddenly available now, after I left poor review. After update, option to restore is available on my device. Thankful I have my data, but still disappointed with process and unnecessary changes to the app. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

   The new settings on this app is confusing! I’ve been using this app since 2015 and this is the first time I’m lost. March was fine but since the app changed it’s layout, I’ve been trying to figure out how to log my period for April. After logging my cycle that lasted from April 6th - April 9th, the app keeps telling me I’m 23 days behind on my period (what da heck?!?). After trying to re-log it several times, it’s now saying my next period is in 21 days, then it says my next period is in 3 days which are both incorrect!! It’s also making me log my feelings/mood/period flow, etc. for each day which is annoying. I’ve never had to do so much work to simply log my cycle. It’s frustrating because right now, it’s not giving me the accurate date of when I should expect my cycle to begin for the month of May. All of the new icons and emojis are really cute and helpful, BUT the app was very simplified before, so I’m not sure why all of a sudden a need to complicate it. It just should not be this annoying to simply log my monthly!!! Before, I was able to tap on a date and the app would ask if it’s the first day of my period and I would simply click yes. Then I’d be able to tap on the last day of my period and select yes for the end of my cycle. PLEASE, PLEASE fix this ASAP!! This has always been a great app, please simplify it like it was before. Thank you so much!

   I really enjoy this app and 🖤 how it syncs with the section of apples health app under menstrual. The app is great for notes too for other medical info you can record even though you’re not currently documenting your menstrual cycle. I do however really dislike the ad you have when you’re first opening the app. If you don’t get you password or the facial recognition button pressed, the ad will block you from being able to close the ad, move around the ad, or succeed in anyway to login. Sometimes it takes me up to four tries to get the facial recognization login to activate. I also wouldn’t every pay to use this app, because I have an iPhone and my health menstrual tracker works great. I did use the free trial, and made sure I canceled before my card was charged. I did this to see if there were other paid options I might choose to use in the future to see if this would allow me a bigger advantage with the app.

   UPDATE: App owner is saying in review responses to go to “settings” then select “restore” to recover missing data. I’m here to tell you…THAT DOESN’T WORK. I just tried it 5 times. Even shut my phone off and rebooted. ALL OF HISTORY IS STILL GONE!!! Going to delete this app to find a more reliable one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When I first downloaded this app, it was amazing. Very accurate and reliable down to the day. But thank goodness I downloaded 2 other trackers because every time M. Cycles changes something or “upgrades”, it seems to erase my previous menstrual cycles. Today, I had to sign in. I haven’t had to sign into the app in ages. When I signed in, my entire menstrual cycle history was gone. It’s even asking me questions or giving directions as if I’m a first time user. Geez. The only pro is despite all the deleted data, it still is accurate of my expected menstrual or ovulation start dates. But the major con is if you don’t have a back up tracker and your doctor asks, when was your last cycle, you may go to the app and find your previous cycles are gone.
