The matchday selector above the matches is back on its best behaviour — moving between rounds feels smoother and the taps actually land. Sorted out a few small navigation hiccups along the way, and the doublers no longer keep you waiting around. As ever, Arjan kept an eye on the rough bits so we could polish them out.

Added more translations and pools can now be created in multiple languages. Match cards now more clearly show your prediction and the result, and the points calculation has been improved. Various bugs related to pool upgrades and rankings have been fixed. Arjan has been quietly tinkering away again.

Prof and Club members can now chat live during matches, and the scoreboard can be cast to a telly via Google Cast — ideal for the pub or clubhouse. We'll keep refining these features all the way to next summer's big tournament, and there's a heap of smaller improvements and optimisations in this one too. Arjan's fingerprints are all over it.

We squashed a bug where the bonus question wouldn't display correctly during live matches when opened from the Matches tab. A small but persistent annoyance, finally gone. Thanks as always to Arjan for spotting the little things the rest of us miss.

A handful of small fixes and refinements to make the app feel a bit smoother in daily use. Nothing flashy, just the quiet kind of polish that adds up over time. Arjan's sharp eye caught a few of the rougher edges along the way.

Fixed a bug where predictions occasionally didn't show up on the Live screen (thanks Harco for the heads-up). The chat panel now remembers its state, so it stays expanded, minimized or closed just the way you left it. We also gave the emoji reactions a polish and squashed a few smaller bugs along the way. Thanks to Cristopher from Costa Rica we squashed a tricky timezone bug that was throwing off match times for some of you. We've also added reminders for the bonus questions so you'll never miss your shot at extra points, plus proper support for postponed, cancelled and interrupted matches. None of this would shine quite the same without Arjan keeping a sharp eye on every detail.
