4/5Some slight delay
Initial setup was fairly simple. Haven’t really dived into the app or given it enough time to get a real feel of the mechanics. I did have a slight issue with seeing new messages being sent to me or me being able to send messages. But it looks like the problem has been resolved. I will give it a few months and then update my review. Right now I’m standing at about 3-1/2 stars but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt with a 4 star rating.

1/5A controlling narcissist's dream app
This app has features that seem handy to a parent with an abusive coparent, however a parent that needs protection would be likely to not apply them. However, a parent who is abusive sets things into "canned chat" limits characters, messages per day etc making it impossible to even coordinate or do anything really. It took me reaching out to my coparent's lawyer and costing him money to even be allowed to set summer vacation plans. God forbid there is ever an emergency that does not allow for the time it takes to email lawyer and finish the loop. When set to limited characters and 30min between messages it glitches and resets the timer causing for one simple communication to take several days. All the while as the parent that wants to cooperate, I get long chains, accusations etc after hours and simply as a silent whipping post. Needless to say court is likely again in the near future and as bad for the kids as it is now; it will paint the narcissist for me

5/5Finally!
Finally, an app (i don’t know a other platform or software either) that allows you to “pause” yourself or your coparent when things get heated-to prevent things from escalating via text. The template or preset responses to use are perfect for keeping things on a business level. It’s like having a co-parenting specialist/therapist (which i did pay a ton for) helping YOU & your coparent navigate what can be tricky communication. It does all the traditional things that co parenting internet based platforms do (for documentation ) but is so much more.

5/5Lifesaver!
Peaceful Parent has been a lifesaver. For many years my son’s father, and I have had many unproductive conversations. Which ultimately directly impact our son. Peaceful Parent has provided an invaluable tool to ensure the emotion is taken out, and only the facts are communicated between parties. It allows us to pause, and be thoughtful with our communication. And, maybe, just maybe a little kinder. In addition, the support/customer service in navigating the App has been excellent. Thank you Peaceful Parent; thank you for giving us the gift of peace!

5/5Thankful for the Peaceful Parent
For the most part, my co-parent and I have had a very successful co-parenting experience. However, there have been moments when things could have gotten out hand. Thankfully, this application provided us with templates that helped us both to communicate amicably. Sometimes co-parents block each other from sending messages inside the app. With this latest update, the app documents who blocked whom with the date and time it occurred. When co-parents are using their Communication Report (which shows all the messages they have sent to each other) in court or for other purposes, this document will now clearly show who has shut-off communication and the date and time it occurred. Some co-parents have a court-order to communicate with each other, and/or a legal agreement that states when and how they need to communicate with each other. When one co-parent blocks the other co-parent, this can significantly disrupt their communication flow about the children. Now, co-parents have the ability to further showcase what is happening with their flow of communication and prove it with a tamper-proof and unalterable record of communication. Stay peaceful!

A fix has been implemented to address message scrolling. Also, we needed to make some adjustments to how the app connects to iOS photo permissions. We add in other small improvements to co-parent chats, limitations to communication and fixes.

The Communication Report inside the Peaceful CoParenting Messenger app shows text messages between co-parents and also photos and documents sent between both parties. This new version of the app fixed a bug that was affecting the images inside the Communication Report. The Report also shows highlighted messages as 'offensive' or flagged 'important' depending on the user and how he/she marked these messages inside the chat. This new version also allows co-parents longer authorization for messaging inside the app before needing to reauthorize.
