4/5Good concept but Scrambled apps
Update: The first install took me a while (long!) to set two phones. Indeed one phone success and one phone failed. Today I tried to reinstall on the second phone. It worked very smoothly and took very little time! Hmm...not sure what happened at first trial but it’s very easy now. Finally my kid and I figured out how to organize apps!!! I am changing my review raising from 2 to 4 stars! One is saved for the installation instruction and the monthly fee. But 7 bucks still worth for two phone. Initial review: I was so excited to have the control over my kids phone to monitor their phone usage. The concept is good and app is easy to use. The problem I have is the apps are reorganized in alphabetical order. App says premium service will eliminate this issue. So I downloaded and when through all the process of installing till late night... guess what all apps are scrambled! My kids are not so happy about it. This is no good as it has bad impact on my relationship with my kid. I want to be a cool mom who knows what I am doing. The second, I still couldn’t figure out why I only was able to pair one phone and not the second one for premium service. So one phone has premium control and the other phone has the basic control. Another late night to figure this out while kids are sleeping. I work full day so only night time is available for me to do this lengthy installation/paring process. Hope I can hear some advice and I fall in love this app so I can give five star.

5/5I’ve tried many
After trying 4 different apps that did not work properly, and being super frustrated I finally tried this and 99.9% of everything is working!! I will say you can not expect perfection out of these but this is pretty close. And of course it depends on what you need it for. I need it because I got my 11y an iPhone and the main purpose is for safety and instant connection during our schedule. First day with it she was texting me in class 🤦🏼♀️. This app allows me to put a schedule on her phone and it completely removes all wanted apps during the scheduled times like school and sleep. A lot of apps claim to do this, b*rk controls all apps but not texting. Texting portion is crucial for us. Some apps just don’t work or can’t be supported by all phones it’s been a rough journey. I have the new iPhone 16. During school the only apps I have working are the phone for emergency, notes and calculator. I do not want to control her like this forever I want to use this app to ease her into the phone e experience for the first year or 2 and hopefully it can help! I also was able to adjust settings to make sure she doesn’t do a factory update or search inappropriate things, etc. the one issue I ran into so far is after I created schedule and app limits I wanted to go back and allow her clock for alarm, and it hasn’t translated over to her phone yet, hoping it will. Also I haven’t yet had to delete this app, I have heard about these device management apps deleting all apps it controlled with it. So when that day comes 🙏🙏🙏

4/5Great App.
I have used OurPact Premium for over 8 years on three of my boys devices. My oldest son sure hated it. I was able to prevent him from having access to Snapchat and TikTok till he graduated high school. If he could find a way around the controls, I’m sure he would have but he couldn’t change anything. I also use OurPact with Apples family security. Not sure if I need too but I like using both. I have praised OurPact for years and tell anyone that needs a service like this to get it. But…. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the current Log in issue and being signed out. I homeschool my two pre-teens so they are home with me all day and I like to give access but take some apps away at different times of the time. We have schedules set but if they finish work early before say our 3pm “School” schedule turns off, I can’t just quickly log onto the app and grant them an hour. Or when they have lunch, I want to grant 30 min. I have to log in EVERY time. This has been going on for a month now. I have sent customer service an email and they apologized and said it’s being worked on. They suggested I save my log in info so I don’t have to type it in but for whatever reason, it doesn’t save my log in info. Face recognition would be nice to log in for something quick. If it doesn’t get fixed soon, I sadly will have to leave and find another app to use.

4/5Works well, a few tweaks would make it great
We have tried many different screen limit apps for our 13 yr olds iPhone and this one is definitely the best of the ones we’ve tried. The ability to set rules for each individual app Is something we were looking for and things the only one we’ve found that allows that for an iPhone. The set up process for premium was pretty painful but once it is going, it does about 95% of what I want and works very well. A few things I’d love to see: 1. The ability to add extra allowance on a one time basis. I can grant time but if I grant 30 mins, it starts when I grant it and ends 30 mins later. I’d love to be able to add 30 mins to their allowance on the current day as a reward or because of special circumstances that day without changing the set allowance for that day of the week. 2. I would love to be able to see a report of my kids use so we can look at it together. I think kids (and grownups too) vastly underestimate the amount of time they spend on their phones. I would love to have some simple output from this app about the amount of time spent on various apps or even just total time. 3. The gang and block function is a little clunky. It serves its purpose but if I want to “grant until I say so” then how do I “say so”? As near as I can figure, I then have to go in to set a block. And it is not always clear how this will interact with the set schedule. It has taken a bit of trial and error to figure out how to work with these and sometimes my assumptions about how it will operate turn out to be wrong.

4/5So far so good!
We tried for almost a year to get our teen to regulate her own phone usage to no avail. After many fights and having to remove the actual phone at bedtime we heard of this app. I am in no way thinking the fights are over but at least now we don’t have to watch the clock and ask her to turn it off and then argue with her. It will simply stop working. We are only using the basic version for now, but will definitely consider the paid version if needed so we can turn the phone off during school. Our teen’s school does not seem to fight phone use in class and instead sets aside class time for “tech time” so sadly any regulation will need to be done by us. My only complaint so far is that the app you put on your kids phone will rearrange their home screen and all their apps every time their phone is blocked and unblocked. Not a crisis but if this didn’t happen that would be great. One less thing for the kids to complain about 😏 Oh and if you are a parent go read the reviews for the kid version of the app Our Pact Jr😆 The reviewers are almost all the kids and reading them made me even more confident that this was the way to go! I laughed until I cried at the kids arguments against this app and how it ruined their lives. Their advice to other kids was to not “allow” your parents to install this on your phone😆 Such an entitled bunch of kids these days!
