4/5Great app, but a couple of annoying bugs.
This app is absolutely fantastic and perfect for my needs as a transit enthusiast. It is consumer friendly, has a great UI, while also feeding me all the technical details such as block IDs and vehicle types. I noticed the app is really resource-intensive, which is understandable for an app that required graphics of this level. The only thing holding me from a 5-star review is a couple of bugs that I would REALLY like to be fixed. I recently got Pro and have been experiencing issues with Filters. Most times when I launch the app, there is a filter set for a set of lines, even though the setting to clear filters when app is quit is turned on. Thank you Panto team!

3/5This app is great BBBUUUTTTTT…
I love this app because it allows you to see all the buses around you (most of the time, however some agencies don’t support bus tracking) the thing that bugs me the most though is that sometimes when I enter the app, the map is completely empty.

4/5Best but not perfect.
If you’re looking for a transit tracker this is by far the best ever, if your agency is supported. There are flaws though: #1 Not all agencies are supported. Many times this is simply because an agency doesn’t have GTFS data (tracking data) available but there are times where it just hasn’t been put on here. #2 Not all vehicles have info. Yes “Mr. Pantograph” is not everywhere all at once and probably has not been to all the places in the app, but the solution to this is supposed to be the email channel to send new information about this, but that is dependent on- #3 UPDATES I don’t know what “Mr. Pantograph” is doing, I’m not going to go out on whim and say they’re lazy or something, they might have moved on to more important things in their life. But then, why is it, that I am paying for Pantograph Pro and it seems like every year this app is slowly slowly getting more out of date and left behind? Abandoned? For instance, Lane Transit District in Eugene Oregon updated their GTFS data to a new link, the simple solution to this is to change the link to which the GTFS data is collected for Pantograph in the app, but that has not been done, meaning anyone with Pantograph in Eugene is just left in the dust, because some guy hasn’t got around to it. I want to say Pantograph is amazing, and it is when it works. When it works it gives unmatched information in a very intuitive and simple package. I can say that at least initially there was a lot of passion and thought put into this. But now, it’s flawed. It’s sad to see such an amazing app go by the wayside, to end up half broken like so many passion projects. So close, yet so far.

4/5Not perfect but mostly good
Marin Transit hasn’t been updated in over a year, which is the only agency in the app that seems to not appear. For all of the other regions, they’ve been mostly reliable and helpful to know and learn and use.

1/5The most confusing and cluttered app
Just wanted to see rail and ferries only, no buses. Disabled all agencies for San Francisco and then turned on only Muni, Bart, CalTrain and Ferries. Unfortunately, of course, turning on Muni shows you both buses and rail, which should be separated. Also, none of the rail line routes were shown unless you tapped on an icon for that line. This app gave me a headache. Very unfortunate. I had heard that this app was was “the best.”

Hello, iOS 14! This update is jam packed with new features, new designs, a new region, and new newness. Let's jump in: • Now available in the San Fransisco Bay Area! Explore all of Pantograph's features for 13 agencies across the bay. • All-new Missed Trips feature allows easy exploration of what trips get missed each day, with hourly/route breakdowns. • All-new Timetables tab enables browsing of the full schedule for each route on a given day. • Support for iOS 14 widgets. • Statistics view now features a pie chart for an easy glance at overall schedule status. • Block and trip schedule views have been redesigned to provide details like layover time, trip duration, stop numbers, and more. • Other views have been redesigned to look nicer, be easier to use, and provide more information. • New list view option allows browsing the current vehicles in a list, sorted by coach ID or route. • "Late" coaches are now orange, reserving red for "very late." These are just the highlights—some minor modifications are sprinkled all through the app, and there's a ton more on the way. This version also begins the migration to SwiftUI—most of the new UI is written in it—which will continue with future releases. Thanks for using Pantograph, and extra thanks to the Pro subscribers who continue to make this possible!

Every year, TransLink of Vancouver, BC sends out a specially decorated bus full of holiday cheer—and this year, it's nine times the fun! This update features a special preset filter to easily track down all nine buses named Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and—of course—Rudolph. You'll also find they stand out on the map. (Filtering requires a Pro subscription) A few minor things have also changed, including a handful of bug fixes, and a change to the way in-app purchases work. If you notice anything off, use the in-app contact to drop me a note. Lots more coming soon. Happy holidays! -Kona
