1. 4/5Pretty good app for collecting/transacting Panini NFTs

   Overall the app has seen a good steady stream of improvements since last summer when I started collecting Panini NFTs. The transactions process much quicker than other platforms (e.g., TopShot). There is a bit of a learning curve and sometimes the searching can take a bit longer than ideal but overall it is pretty well organized and the search functionality gives pretty good filters for finding what you are looking for. Would be nice to have some quality of life improvements for viewing your collection “progress” since you don’t have the satisfaction of a physical collection.

   Panini is the exclusive license holder for two most popular sports, NBA and NFL, for many years. They have long history, well thought out set compositions, and brand recognition in Prizm, National Treasures, Immaculate and Flawless. They were ahead of NFT movement by releasing blockchain cards as early as Jan 2020. They have 3 kinds of blockchain cards. Preprizm blockchain redeemed from pulls in physical products, Dutch auction weekly which is offered through this app, and digital pack drop, such as S1, S2 prizm. Through this app, one can go to auction with running time up to 3 days and gallery where guys can make offers to showcased cards. 3. 1/5Crushed a kids dream!!

   I am a single father and a disabled veteran and I love the HOBBY BECAUSE IT SAVED MY LIFE, I was headed down a very very dark road and believe it or not this helped pull me out of it and a very destructive path. It also helps me meet new people and also calms me down enough so I’m able to be around large groups again because my focus is on the cards and not my environment. Just to back my claims here is a screenshot of the open tickets I will be happy to to POST MY DD214 from the Army as well. With a very very very limited I try to rip with my son and a very ARMY buddy’s but we usually have to split a hobby because we can’t afford a good one but the times I usually get stuck with the points but too scared to send in afraid I will not get anything back. And with the people I don’t PC I usually try to donate to a different veterans suicide awareness program like PROJECT 22 to help raise money due to 22 veterans a day committing suicide and countless others like me to bring awareness to combat related PTSD & substance abuse awareness. If anyone wants I have time stamped screenshots of everything as well as pics of cards along with MY DD214!!

4. 1/5Always dropping the ball

   Whether it’s their app or their tangible product panini manages to do next to nothing right. The quality in their cards has taken a STEEP STEEP dive in the last handful of years and their prices only go up and up. To make matters worse they are constantly tied up in lawsuits and scandals because they regularly bend over their customers. This morning the literal first thing in 2+ years I’ve seen on their reward shop that I wanted, I tried for over 30 minutes to add to my cart. It started with the app crashing over and over eventually logging me out. Finally after getting back in to my account you couldn’t add the rewards because of “high user volume” yet somehow all the rewards managed to still sell out. I, like a lot of people have spent thousands with this company. Have I seen a single redemption in the mail yet? No. Does your app work? No. Is this company a monopoly on licensed football cards? Yes.

5. 1/5Buyer Beware

   Can’t do anything with my NFTs. Decided to buy some late last year and had a lot of fun buying them and putting them up for auction. Was a nice alternative to trying to find, buy and sell cards in stores. Then all of a sudden all of my options to set a minimum bid for my cards and/or place them at auction disappeared. No one seems to know what’s going on and panino can’t help me. I have over $1,000 I spent in NFTs that are absolutely useless to me since all my options have disappeared. I have friends with the same phone and same app who are still able to do everything I’m no longer able to do. I have missed out on several events where I probably could have made a nice profit on a card…… but I can’t put it up for auction for some reason. My advice would be to save your money and spend it elsewhere, once panini gets it they don’t seem to interested in customer service.
