   I’m reaching a point where I have to be selective of what I subscribe to. And for now, my preference is with Pandora. It does what I like, but I do wish there was slightly more customization with radios like being able to select like a playlist of radio stations and it shuffle those. If I shuffle my radios it’s going to include classical music which I don’t mind but it’s not the vibe I’m looking for; if I select to shuffle, it’s gonna also include children’s music because I’ve used it for my kids back when the first Lego Movie came out and I don’t want to hear “everything is awesome!” For example: I’m looking for a variety of female voices like Alanis, No Doubt’s Gwen Stephanie and Halsey - Manic, and I’d like to break it up with some of todays country mixes. I don’t have that option unless I pick something like Post Malone’s Station, but then it’s gonna play some of his songs that aren’t my favorite. I want some variety. Like I want to be able to tweak the algorithm. But I haven’t updated my phone or software to see if this is already a feature that I’m just unaware of and haven’t figured out yet (I need user friendly and not overwhelming with options). I’m Team Pandora. I choose to pay for it and will watch a single 30 second ad for the privilege to play an entire album or choose specific songs for a bit. But please stay affordable and don’t do more ads. Otherwise, I’m going to continue down the path of buying physical secondhand media and raise the next generation to do the same and I will do my part and preach to listening ear to disconnect.

   I’ve had pandora for about 6 years installed on my phone. I love the short sessions you can have for free by just watching an ad (which I only discovered 3 years ago fsr) and they usually last about 30 minutes. But there have been some glitches I have been encountering. So let’s say I pick a song and start a session, then I realize that I have to do something else so I pause a song. About 1-2 hours later when I come back it would be done, which is *supposed to happen* but it doesn’t. So I turn a song on thinking it’s not a big deal, and the song won’t play. None of the songs will! I turn on the radio stations though and it works fine (though a bit slower). Oh, but when I try to replay a song on that station, which usually works, isn’t, so I have to be more careful as not to make a mistake of skipping anything. But sometimes, or sorry, ehem, MOST of the time, it will be hours later AND it still won’t END. Like please, I just want this glitchy session to end so I can start another one so I can actually listen to the songs in my playlists! The only solution to the problem for me is to sin out of my account, and then re-log in. It’s so much work though to go all the way to the settings, sign out, wait like 5 minutes (yes it takes a very long time) and then finally log back in, and then think of a song to search up in the search bar. Like, this isn’t supposed to happen. It’s so repetitive. Please fix this.

3. 5/5Great for Finding “New” Songs

   I have always loved music from many decades going back to the 50’s and even newly created songs that have a modern twist on certain vibes- such as a 20’s flare or an old timey sound, or a lounge/jazz sound, etc. my problem is I have NEVER learned the Artists and Titles. I know many of the names of Artists, but can’t pinpoint which one sang which song, and certainly either never knew the title or just can’t remember. That’s because I never was allowed to buy cassettes or CDs growing up- we just had radio and I change channels as soon as DJ starts talking. Now the new cars have a screen that shows the Artist and Title when driving. Point is- I love that I can search a “station” for an artist I know on Pandora and the app finds more with the same style. Like 10years ago I went on a cruise and came home searching for beachy vacation or Hawaiian vibe music, and of course Halloween and Christmas music for parties. I love being able to click and see the LYRICS also- especially if I can’t figure out a word or phrase they are singing. I would LOVE to see an additional feature- the DATE the Titles were released- to show on Lock Screen under Title & Artist. I think it would be a very easy addition that does not take up much room to display. I wish radio name would do the same for the vehicle display screens that already show Title & Artist when driving.

   Pandora in my opinion is one of the best music on podcast app there is it is very quick and easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of time either and it doesn’t play the same song over and over and you can’t really pick so you could experience new music that you wouldn’t listen to on a daily basis so it helps youfind music that helps you express yourself better and can improve your emotions through throughout the day. I also think that this app is very good for kids to listen to music especially while studying you’re using your brain and sometimes if you like me, you can’t exactly focus on what you’re studying unless you have something playing in the background and that’s why I love Pandora while I’m studying or getting ready for a quiz. I love to listen to Pandora and I have that music in my ear and have that positivity to keep me going so I can focus more or even listening to a podcast when you listen to your podcast basically multitasking going two different things and exceeding the level on them and improving your mental health or your emotions so I do think that Pandora is one of the most efficient apps to have while studying or getting ready for a test having it in class cause you’re not really paying attention in class for me anyway if you don’t have music in the background or podcasts or an activity that you’re doing with your hands rolling maybe then you can hear more you listen better so I think the Pandora is one of the best apps to have studying or getting your quiz going in the shower drawing painting whatever you name it I think Pandora is one of the best apps and I would definitely try it if I were you.

   I started using Pandora when it first came out. I still have playlists that I had created in 08-09 that are awesome to go back and listen to, like going back in time. I usually listen to Pandora from a web browser on my computer at work or from my laptop at home. Ever since I have been using my iphone app for Pandora and play music via a Bluetooth connection, a BT speaker or in my car equipped with BT, I get COMMERCIALS every one to two songs. I hardly ever listen to it from a web browser anymore and don’t really plan on it as times are changing. I figured since I’m using my data plan on my cell phone to access Pandora that the least they could do was not use it all up with commercials. It’s so annoying that I have stopped using it unless I’m connected to WiFi and it isn’t costing me anything to struggle through the ridiculous amount of commercials that play. My daughters both have accounts exactly like mine, free, and neither of theirs play nearly as many commercials as mine. I created a new account, and guess what? Very few commercials!! The only bad thing is that all my playlists are on my commercial account and they are from 2009 and up. I’m stuck. I can’t afford another monthly payment, I have thought about it, but that’s not the point.... point is that it wasn’t always like this. It was great until a year or two ago. I have been a user for almost 10 years and love the experience. I wish more effort went in to keeping customers rather than attracting more and forgetting that us old timers are the reason you have succeeded here. ~~mixed feelings

   I have used the Pandora app for probably the past 10yrs with no issues. This past update has caused the app to use an inappropriate amount of my cpu and battery. I've cleared cache and reinstalled the app and its still using more cpu and battery the apps Im activity using the screen for. can't recommend the app until they fix this update.
