   I’ve been using this app for the last year or two and quite pleased with it’s ease-of-use. I’ve never forgotten a thing that I needed and I love the fact that you can add things that may not be listed. I just purchased the premium version and have only one minor concern. I just used the app and after I have set it all up and added new things, I realized that the dates were incorrect. I could not find anywhere to change the dates other than re-doing it...which I was not about to do. This seems like an easy change and I hope you can accommodate me on this with a fix. Other than that I love this app and highly recommend it. Thanks for a super app!

2. 2/5Not helpful for multi-location

   We are world travelers and travel often. Most of our trips are for 3-6 weeks at a time, hitting 10-15 spots. Our MO is to fly to a destination, stay for a few days, then cruise to 6-8 ports (or land bus tour to 6-8 cities). Then stay in one locale for a week and explore, then we train or fly onto another area where we continue spot hopping for another week via land tour or another cruise. We love traveling this way, but it does take lots of packing planning when you’re going to so many different places in one or two suitcases. This app can’t handle our kind of travel without creating a bunch of mini trips. For now, I’m back to creating my spreadsheets with each day, location, activities, and weather, then estimating clothes based on that. Was really hoping this app could save me the time, but it would take forever to create a bunch of little trips for each individual day or several day runs. It also wouldn’t roll all those trips into one packing plan making sure I don’t duplicate items. Not quite there yet, guys! But you’ll have my money when you fix that.

3. 3/5Overall good but the UI needs refinement

   My initial review of this app wasn’t quite fair. There were some capabilities I didn’t think it had but it did - they were just harder to find than I thought. Biggest issues are some inefficiencies in the user interface. One big one - PackPoint always wants to drop you into the screen for creating a packing list, even when that’s not what you want to do and there’s no way out of it until you create a list. Then you have to go back and delete the unwanted list it forced you to create! Other annoyances are 1) entering dates one field at a time instead of using a calendar selector; 2) the weather display looks like a day forecast but isn’t; 3) the weather display also needs to allow you to click thru to a multi day forecast covering your trip; 3) it really needs to let you modify the names of items in an activity as well as change the ordering, like you can in an actual packing list. There are a lot of other UI annoyances. They’re all small, but collectively they make the app more tedious than it needs to be.

4. 1/5Was great when it worked.

   This app was so great for years, total 5 star. I used it on every trip I took. But recently, it has stopped working properly. When I open it up, it opens to the screen asking me to select either business or leisure for a new trip. And there is no way to get out of that screen without quitting the app, which most times won’t even fix it. Worst, one of my last trips I created a list. Tweaked it perfectly to suite that trip. Opened it back up a few days later and it was gone. I had to delete the app, reinstall and all my customized lists were gone. Forever. There is no backup. I was optimistic and so started to creat my lists again. But then it still would not open to the screen where I can choose to view a saved trip. This app has seriously become useless and I am on the hunt for a better one. It has not been updated in 7 months! TripIt, who I believe bought it, has entirely neglected it and I wonder if they plan to no longer offer it. It’s a shame because this was the best all out there and now it’s the worst.

5. 5/5Great organizational tool

   I love this app. It helps me stay organized and not forget anything. I bought the premium so I could customize my lists. It was well worth it! Depending on whether my trip is business or leisure or who is coming with me, I can have set items I need. Going to Disney- remember the bands and pins and kid info tags. Taking someone with disabilities remember their placard, wheelchair case, and any specialized items. I can continue to add or subtract items and activities so with each trip the lists become more streamlined. I use this every time I travel!

   It's got so much potential, but it's so buggy. The paid version enable customization which is awesome, but it doesn't carry forward to the next trip/list. I wish they had customer support to help fix the issue as the app has so much potential!
