4/5Audio quality
It’s been over a year since last postings about audios crashing and the response that new, more compressing recordings were replacing the old ones. However, I just started using these a month ago and there are still recordings that crash. Many work well but I’ve run across a few (most recently the healing the split recording) that spin and spin until I shut down my phone. Another issue is that once a recording has played successfully, it keeps showing up on my iPhones’s player on the notifications page. And again, won’t go away until I turn the phone completely off and then on again. Third issue: I’d love some overcoming pain segments written for pain that is intermittent (e.g. when moving). These are big glitches, but I find the tracks that work to. E extremely helpful.

4/5Good but overpriced for quality
Small things like audio quality makes me question them charging $5. While It has helpful things in it, some of the meditations I feel like instructions could be clearer . The wording is sometimes awkward . And I don’t like austere music and echoey voice sounds in meditations . Still worth it if you can use some of the tools .

5/5Life-Changing for Victim of Childhood Abuse
This app is incredibly affordable and has an amazing user friendly, clean, and chic UI. I have CPTSD from childhood narcissistic abuse and I find other apps like head space too fluffy and not really relevant to my trauma. My anxiety and depression were multiple layers more complex than regular anxiety and depression and all changes are superficial unless related to the core of my trauma. This app helps me peel off the layers of my depression and anxiety. The app is very well made and the voice of Mark is incredibly empathetic and soothing. The visuals are great. My only hope would be to add a little eye movement section. Thank you so much for making this life-changing app for abuse victims!

3/5Some good, some not so good
On the super fantastic plus side, it absolutely can help alleviate your pain. I have had migraines that nothing helps for several decades and with this app I have been able to stop several of them in their tracks. On the frustrating side is that the tracks don’t work well and are glitchy unless they are downloaded and several of them simply won’t download, which means they can’t be used at all. I reached out to the provided email but didn’t hear back. Shame. Also, once you try to download them, they just spin and spin (for days and weeks) and there is no way to stop it which means it is continually bogging down your phone in the background. Oh well, close to great but very frustrating.

1/5The "soothing music" drove me nuts
As someone in terrible pain all the time, the last thing I needed in the entire world was to be forced to listen to someone else's idea of "soothing" background music. Chimes, harps, the dreaded piano, all of the new age orchestra, at a volume that almost drowned out the speaker. Not very sensitive to the sensory overload experienced by many people who are coping with high levels of pain. In the pain section I only found one track that was allegedly silent, labeled (bare) -- even that has some sound -- and it was not the track I needed. I suggest stripping out the background noise on all of the tracks and allowing listeners to choose which version they prefer. In the meantime, sadly, I will be returning this.
