   They fixed some of their problems but every potential user needs to know something. If you store a lot of passwords, your are on one-way street. If you create a lot of passwords in OneSafe you appear to be stuck. There does not appear any way to export passwords for transfer to another password manager. OK, OK, yeah. Every app programmer wants to thing there will never, ever be a reason to change to a different product, but they shouldn’t make it so their product locks you you in. There is no apparent way to transfer OneSafe passwords. If there is, it’s not something you can find with a sensible web search, or something that can be found on their website. Sooooo… unless your are super, SUPER confident that this is your last password stop —> go elsewhere. OneSafe appears to have a business model of locking you in.

2. 1/5Not worth your long time support

   If you asked me a year ago, I would have said oneSafe is the best password app on the App Store. Even better than Apple’s password app. I bought this app years ago, almost back in 2015 probably. Since then oneSafe has upgraded the app, supported it, and released new features that aren’t included with this app. All of this is fine, however recently they have added a premium charge feature to get back feature taken away from an already paid for app. To reiterate, I paid for this app 10 years ago, and now they are demanding money to use features I’ve been using for 10 years. Since I bought the app from the App Store, it doesn’t even acknowledge that I was a paid user. There is a reason the oneSafe company is failing. I’ll be moving to Bitwarden which seems to be a genuine company that cares about a users security and finances.

3. 1/5Bugs!!!

   I’ve been using this app for at least three years and I’ve always loved it. However, with iPhone 11 Pro and iOS 13.3, there are two bugs that make it extremely dangerous to use. First, when I start the app, a lot of times the keypad doesn’t show up or it shows up for a second and then immediately goes away, and there’s no way of getting it back. Due to this bug, I have to type my password somewhere else and copy it back to the app, which is NOT what we want to do because it’s not safe!!! More severe is that, when you use this app first and then go to some other app. Now if you slide the white bar at the bottom of your screen to go back to this app again, it does not ask you for password again, whereas if you go back by opening the App Switcher (that is the tabs of apps you have used after you swipe up the white bar), it will ask you for the password. That means you have to shut down the app manually after using every single time to make sure everything’s safe. I really like the app and hope you guys can have it fixed soon. I’ll change my rate to 5 star when I see those changes.

4. 4/5Won’t open!

   Help, won’t open, everything is on there, I’m trying to budget and I can’t get into my bank account because I can’t remember the super secure password the app created. I emailed support yesterday, no response yet. It recognizes my Face ID or passcode then immediately force closes. It won’t launch. I used to LOVE this app, I’ve used it for over a year flawlessly and almost daily! Update** I hadn’t heard back from emailing support and desperately needed my info. I verified I had a backup in my iCloud files and I finally decided to take the chance of uninstalling the app and praying that my cloud backup restored properly. It did restore and I got all my data back. After a few days support got back to me and suggested I reinstall the app.

5. 2/5Great app, ZERO support

   When I say zero support, I literally mean zero. If you forget your main password, there is no way to recover it. There is no password reset option in the app, there is no password reset option on the web, their FAQ page has a 404 Error, their “Contact Us “ page has a 404 Error, and their “Support” page says if you’re having problems then open support in the app and send them logs and things. This type of garbage is not acceptable in this day of technology. I have scoured the web for resolutions and it seems everyone else that has had this issue, complain about the same thing; ZERO SUPPORT. Activity on social media is over a year old as I’m writing this, not sure what that’s all about as that is how companies in modern times keep society up to date with product updates and new releases, bogus! If the support was there, then this would probably be a 5 Star app.
