2/5Maps won’t load
I want to like this app, especially considering that it seems lakemaster maps are more accurate than navionics. However, I cannot seem to get the charts to load, even after purchasing the yearly map subscription. I press Chart Viewer and the screen more or less freezes with a preparing charts load screen. I have the most recent version of the app and I have restarted my device multiple times. Please help me resolve this issue otherwise I will have to request a refund.

If the app worked as advertised it would be 5 stars easy. App works until you are Bluetooth connected to your fish finders and as soon as you open the update screen the app crashes, also as soon as I click to view charts to stays on the loading screens and never loads. Great concept, bad execution. Just something else to note, the update screen crashes didn’t happen until after I was able to use the app to update my fish finders and trolling motor. I tried redownloading the app several times and it does not change

I’m not an IT professional, but I have no problem with most home or work tech, so I consider this just a poor app. Chartview is unreliable and not working at all just now — spinning wheel — maybe that’s because my Xplore unit is currently on my ice shuttle. But in the new boat of my dreams, the “Network” doesn’t work as a proper network of Xplore units in any way that I consider adequate or worth the considerable investment made in state-of-the-art Humminbird electronics. What is the point of an Ethernet hub if the networked units are not truly integrated, sharing stored data easily and not just live transducer readings? And yes, maybe I should re-read all the lousy pdfs start-to-finish or watch tons of extra videos (unlike other tech that just seems to work). Or maybe I should just eBay everything and start over with another brand. The hardware is great, but this app is trash.

I recently downloaded this and bought the year subscription. This app is an absolute game changer. I had the old “FishSmart” Humminbird app and this one blows it out of the water. Instead of buying each lake map for $10, you gain access to every lake map for $25. I was able to target fish on multiple different lakes that I’ve never fished and found them because of One-Boat. If you’re an avid angler this is a MUST have.

If you ever bought a single lake map on the fish smart app you will loose them. If you download this you will loose all of those purchases. I emailed Humminbird and they basically said you have to keep the app to have them, but you can’t redownload it if you get a new phone. Or you can download them on a computer, which does a lot of good on a lake. It’s kinda like buying a product and then a new version comes out and they take it away and leave you with nothing. I’m just disappointed. Probably won’t buy any more Humminbird stuff cuz I don’t want to spend a few hundred dollars and not get to use the product I purchased.
