1. 4/5Helpful info for smoother log in

   If you received a card from the store, before you try to download the app go to the online website first create login there then verify your email with the link they email you. Once that part is completed then download the app and you should have no issues using it. I was able to go to the website first right on my phone. Hope this helps anyone struggling to create a log in from the app and not having any success.

2. 1/5Store selector malfunctions rendering app useless

   Visited store a few weeks ago and was not really impressed, installed app to see new deals, created account in the app to move past the initial screen, navigated to store locator page, found local store and selected it as my hometown store, app put a checkmark in the appropriate box next to the desire store, after 3-4 seconds it removed the checkmark with no indicators, repeated the two previous tasks several times with no success, navigated to account settings and failed to troubleshoot issue, deleted account, uninstalled the app, now waiting on Ollie’s to sell my information so I can get more spam emails. It might be a better experience if Ollie’s would guide users to their website until the apps use cases and functionality have been vetted out. Plus the website doesn’t require an account to view merchandise, and the websites store selector appears to maybe work. The app doesn’t have very clear indicators after store is selected. Before, i was not really impressed by Ollie’s, and now, i am even less impressed with Ollie’s because of their app…which they don’t really need for their business. I hope Ollie’s doesn’t sell their customers information, however it is unlikely for this to be the case.

   In no way is this a reflection of the store, which is a hit or miss bargain store if you want something specific, yet great if you are trying eto balance a budget or find a decent gift that would cost twice as much anywhere else. The prices are unbeatable. The app on the other hand provides very little other than store location, an image of their latest advertisement showing exactly what you get via email or mailer/newspaper (with no specific information, just an exact image of the flyer), and a image of any discount coupons you may qualify for. Very little else. I understand it’s a discount store and inventory is totally random and changing. However if you are going to create an app, you have a big opportunity to speak to a target audience who is actually seeking you out. Offer a blog or some brand information or additional product information on what is in the flyer. I hate giving it a 2 star because there is nothing buggy or malfunctioning, nothing wasteful, irrelevant or misleading. It’s just bland and boring. Maybe it’s part of the savings they pass on and that’s forgivable.

   Just like 90% of the other reviewers said, this app is crap. I wasted a good half an hour, tediously imputing all my information in 3 seperate times (which I was kinda suprised you guys didn't ask for my SSN, to be honest...), thinking I must've done something wrong, but turns out that the only thing I did wrong, was waste that half an hour of my life that I will never get back on this useless app. What's the point of even creating this app, if your customers can't make an account to use it? And from the looks of the dates from other reviewers, this has been going on for a long time now, and yet noone from Ollie's could spare even an hour to try to fix it for their customers? Nothing? Not even so much as one vague and indifferent reply to one of your (very) many negative reviews? Awesome customer service and business integrity. All of us can really tell how much you love and appreciate your customers. Keep up the good work. I'm sure business will really start booming soon.

   Your coupons aren’t worth the trouble. I was in the store and couldn’t get the 15% off that was advertised without an email or a cards in the mail. So, why am I spending money using my membership that I’m asked for my phone number everyone I shop? I think that I’m getting benefits for doing that, but it’s apparent that I’m not. I make a purchase with my phone number that links me to your system, showing that I’m a frequent customer. But I can’t get your advertised discount after giving up all this information. I’m not going to spend any more money at any of your stores. I will pay more rather than be frustrated with making purchases here. I would have felt better about spending my money without the coupon offer because I wouldn’t have expected the advertised discount. Do away with your coupons or do away with your system of how to redeem them. It’s frustrating! I drive 20 miles to shop here and now this…
