1. 1/5Scam-you can’t cancel the subscription.

   As soon as you open the app you are hit with a paywall where they have a premium subscription. You cannot use the app for free whatsoever because they only have one option to use the app and thats their premium subscription. Where the scam comes in is when you choose the 3 day free trial. Canceling it after is nearly impossible. They hide cancel subscription buttons and claim they can’t find your subscription to cancel it. “We couldn't find a subscription for your account. If you recently subscribed, it may still be processing, please try again later or contact our support team for help.” So then you have to reach out to their support team to which they obviously don’t respond and you do get charged $7.99 and it keeps happening every single week no matter how many times you email them to cancel it. They also don’t do refunds so even though you have been attempting for it to be cancelled they still won’t refund you. I highly recommend not using this app it will likely be a headache for you. But the app does work and it is informative as long as you don’t mind paying 7.99 a week and not being able to cancel it.

2. 1/5Can't Access Account Info To Cancel Free Trials

   Was going to try out the free trial to just check my area. No issues on that end, but after the first day of using it that was all I needed to see. I tied to cancel on the second day of the trial and I was unable to pull up any account information at all connected to my app. It said something along the lines of, "If you recently created an account it may not show up. Give it time or contact customer support." So I tried going into my subscriptions to cancel it that way, like I have been able to do with any other free trial before on any other app, and nothing was found. I was quite surprised that nothing was showing up. Ended up getting hit with the monthly fee without ever being able to access any account information.

3. 1/5DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE “FREE” TRIAL

   I would strongly advise people to STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. I signed up for the 3-day free trial and tried to cancel before it ended. There was no functional way to cancel through the app. The subscription wasn’t in my Apple subscriptions, and their website’s cancellation system said it sent me an email that NEVER ARRIVED. I tried multiple email addresses. I contacted the company directly and followed every instruction they gave me. I sent them the requested email addresses and a screenshot of the charge. They then stopped responding. The $7.99 charge went through anyway. I had to dispute the charge with my bank, get a stop payment placed on future charges, and replace my debit card because I could not get this company to simply CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION. Their own Terms of Service say you can cancel by emailing them. I did that before the trial ended. This is absolutely ridiculous. A company should not make it this difficult to cancel a $7.99 subscription. I shouldn’t have to involve my bank and replace my debit card because a company won’t provide a working cancellation process or respond to its customers. If you’re thinking about taking the “3-day free trial,” DON’T. The trial isn’t worth the headache of trying to get out of it. I wish I had read the reviews before giving this company my payment information. Edited 9/9/26 I received a response on my review from the app developer encouraging me to reach out via their website/email so they can fix this issue which is the same response I’ve seen them comment on everyone else’s poor review. To be clear, I have emailed the app developer NUMEROUS times (like literally 10 times) with zero response thus far. So again, this is scam and I do not recommend downloading this app.

   idk why this app has such bad reviews. I use it and as far as i know it’s pretty accurate and helpful especially when i’m alone or in a sketchy area. it’s nice to know what creeps live around you and to stay away from certain places. anyway yeah i love this app and i’ve been using it really often for like idk a year or two now? it’s good. i used to know one of the offenders on there when i was really young and she’s listed accurately so i’m assuming most of the others are too.

5. 2/5Used to love this app, but this new onboarding is atrocious…

   I use to use this periodically in my area (I’ve got a young family). But I guess it’s been a while since using it because when I opened it today, I had to get past like 100 screens (swipes, taps, etc) before I even got to use the app. Much more fear mongering than before, sooo many unnecessary screens I had to get through before getting to want I wanted to see. And then… it was saying I had to pay for an account (it’s normal to see if people want a paid version, but they made it sound like that was the only option. It wasn’t made clear right away how to go with the free version). Finally asked for a review from me less than 2 seconds into being on the dashboard/map. Haha, well…. I’ll certainly leave you a review. I’m sure the actual app is great. But this feedback and poor review is for your onboarding. You need to seriously re-evaluate it.
