I have some suggestions- with multi night livestreams, it’s unclear if you’re buying one show or multiple nights. I would change the menus to make it clearer. Like for Dead and Company it literally says 4-night pass on the bottom of the ticket page and then it turns out to be one night. Also there are discrepancies between the promotional subscriber rates you are offered when logging in on different devices, and in certain cases depending on which page you open on the site. For example last month I purchased a Billy strings show that was being sold for 2 different prices depending on which way you navigated to it on the Nugs site. It would be really nice if you could improve this. Same thing when you buy a show on one device but try to watch it on another device, it will only show that you already bought the show if you navigate to it through a certain path.

2/5No “Sort” option for Playlists
The only way to sort/arrange songs in a playlist is by manually dragging each song, one-by-one, from the very bottom of the playlist where they’re added up to wherever you want it. If you want to sort alphabetically (Artist, Song Title, Album/Show/Venue), Recently Added to Playlist, or most importantly: Date of Show; you’re out of luck. Given the live music angle of this platform, there should also be an option to sort by Song Length or even Song Popularity. Every music streaming platform (including Internet Archive) has a Sort By button and some assortment of the features mentioned above. I don’t mind spending extra time on custom playlists if I’m adamant about specific songs being positioned in a specific place, but there is no reason why arranging playlists on the fly according to some broad, simple metrics like date or alphabetical order should take more than a single press of a button. I’m very happy with the selection & quality of music available, but the less time I can spend staring at & swiping around my phone to manage my library and more time I can spend simply listening to & enjoying the music while going about my business, the better. PLEASE implement better playlist management options as soon as possible — the future of my paid subscription depends on it.

2/5The app is terrible
The content on nugs is stellar. The app itself is not what it should be. They know of the problems but do not much care. It makes it really hard to support the bands you love when there are near constant issues. Nugs support is the absolute WORST part of the entire experience. They just don’t care. They have a crappy attitude, I suspect it’s because the support person is in WAY over her head. She is clueless , so its always the users issue, not Nugs. They will turn it back on you every single time with lines like “no one else is reporting this issue so it must be something that YOU are doing”. It isn’t you. It’s Nugs. I have emailed all of the bands I love and support on Nugs and encouraged all of them (I’ve purchased at least 200 nugs shows, that’s right PURCHASED) to also put their shows up on Bandcamp. Because you know what’s never failed on me??? That’s right, Bandcamp. It’s unfortunate, I love to support the bands I follow by purchasing their shows. Nugs is making it harder to do that, when what they SHOULD be doing is making their app work better for both the customer and the bands. They just don’t care enough to put their arrogant pride and ego aside and hire someone with the knowledge to fix the problems. Come on nugs, be better!!!!

2/5Redesign improved experience but still yikes
Apple tv user. I cant fast forward in anything other than ten second skips? Im on 47th min of string cheese as i write this. My finger has pushed my remote 1000 times. Still terrible techno and “please stay tuned” Truly miserable UX. Next issue: no soundboard access on the TV? You are a streaming platform guys and all i see on apple tv is live streams. I want to hear soundboards. Why you not include half the reason people buy your service on an app is beyond me. Issue 3: make browsing for sound board simple where it is available on a phone. It took me forever to find sort by year. Its impossible to just easily browse for archive soundboards. It like purposefully chaotic and difficult to find music. And that was for portugal the man which has a very small live catalog. Stylistically the old nugs sucked but it had a functional purpose. This is just like an ai slopped rehash that sure looks pretty but is missing key functionality to get it to a premium place. Test your users for feedback. Its crazy to me it took 10 years to get a redesign and yet you guys still miss the mark so bigly.

5/5Gold Standard of Live Concert Streaming Music
nugs net is the gold standard for fans of Jam Bands and more. We are so fortunate to have such a quality service run by lovers of music and not some corporate conglomerate. The ability to stream live music into your living room or headphones is something not to be taken for granted. There was a day when we had to wait months and use snail mail to trade tapes of varying quality. Now we can open an app minutes before showtime and have HD sound quality. Connect nugs net to a high quality home stereo and you can have near concert quality or better music in your own home. An AppleTV and nugs net app is an easy way to get music to a home audio system. Or using DACs such as Audioquest offers for you phone to a home stereo / theater system. Nugs net provides high quality music in an excellent and highly functional app. And with ticket prices pushing 75 and 100 dollars these days and the costs of touring, well , nugs net becomes more and more attractive to me. A big thanks to all the audio , network , computer and API techs that make this happen. "Without love and dream it will never come true." Well, that dream is here and it is the fruit from the fine folks at nugs net.

Like for Dead and Company it literally says 4-night pass on the bottom of the ticket page and then it turns out to be one night. Also there are discrepancies between the promotional subscriber rates you are offered when logging in on different devices, and in certain cases depending on which page you open on the site. For example last month I purchased a Billy strings show that was being sold for 2 different prices depending on which way you navigated to it on the Nugs site. It would be really nice if you could improve this. Same thing when you buy a show on one device but try to watch it on another device, it will only show that you already bought the show if you navigate to it through a certain path.",

          "body": "The only way to sort/arrange songs in a playlist is by manually dragging each song, one-by-one, from the very bottom of the playlist where they’re added up to wherever you want it. If you want to sort alphabetically (Artist, Song Title, Album/Show/Venue), Recently Added to Playlist, or most importantly: Date of Show; you’re out of luck. Given the live music angle of this platform, there should also be an option to sort by Song Length or even Song Popularity. Every music streaming platform (including Internet Archive) has a Sort By button and some assortment of the features mentioned above. I don’t mind spending extra time on custom playlists if I’m adamant about specific songs being positioned in a specific place, but there is no reason why arranging playlists on the fly according to some broad, simple metrics like date or alphabetical order should take more than a single press of a button. I’m very happy with the selection & quality of music available, but the less time I can spend staring at & swiping around my phone to manage my library and more time I can spend simply listening to & enjoying the music while going about my business, the better. PLEASE implement better playlist management options as soon as possible — the future of my paid subscription depends on it.",

          "body": "The content on nugs is stellar. The app itself is not what it should be. They know of the problems but do not much care. It makes it really hard to support the bands you love when there are near constant issues. Nugs support is the absolute WORST part of the entire experience. They just don’t care. They have a crappy attitude, I suspect it’s because the support person is in WAY over her head. She is clueless , so its always the users issue, not Nugs. They will turn it back on you every single time with lines like “no one else is reporting this issue so it must be something that YOU are doing”. It isn’t you. It’s Nugs. I have emailed all of the bands I love and support on Nugs and encouraged all of them (I’ve purchased at least 200 nugs shows, that’s right PURCHASED) to also put their shows up on Bandcamp. Because you know what’s never failed on me??? That’s right, Bandcamp. It’s unfortunate, I love to support the bands I follow by purchasing their shows. Nugs is making it harder to do that, when what they SHOULD be doing is making their app work better for both the customer and the bands. They just don’t care enough to put their arrogant pride and ego aside and hire someone with the knowledge to fix the problems. Come on nugs, be better!!!!",

          "body": "Apple tv user. I cant fast forward in anything other than ten second skips? Im on 47th min of string cheese as i write this. My finger has pushed my remote 1000 times. Still terrible techno and “please stay tuned” Truly miserable UX. Next issue: no soundboard access on the TV? You are a streaming platform guys and all i see on apple tv is live streams. I want to hear soundboards. Why you not include half the reason people buy your service on an app is beyond me. Issue 3: make browsing for sound board simple where it is available on a phone. It took me forever to find sort by year. Its impossible to just easily browse for archive soundboards. It like purposefully chaotic and difficult to find music. And that was for portugal the man which has a very small live catalog. Stylistically the old nugs sucked but it had a functional purpose. This is just like an ai slopped rehash that sure looks pretty but is missing key functionality to get it to a premium place. Test your users for feedback. Its crazy to me it took 10 years to get a redesign and yet you guys still miss the mark so bigly.",

There was a day when we had to wait months and use snail mail to trade tapes of varying quality. Now we can open an app minutes before showtime and have HD sound quality. Connect nugs net to a high quality home stereo and you can have near concert quality or better music in your own home. An AppleTV and nugs net app is an easy way to get music to a home audio system. Or using DACs such as Audioquest offers for you phone to a home stereo / theater system. Nugs net provides high quality music in an excellent and highly functional app. And with ticket prices pushing 75 and 100 dollars these days and the costs of touring, well , nugs net becomes more and more attractive to me.
