   I first stumbled across the Novel App through a writer's TikTok that went viral, showing how she used it to finish her first book, and I'm so glad I took a chance on downloading it. The app makes writing stories much easier by giving you a clean, simple space to work without any distractions getting in the way, and honestly, I've written more in the past month than I did all last year. The app comes with a helpful writing buddy that gives you good ideas about your story and characters, kind of like having a smart friend giving you advice, which has helped me get unstuck so many times. Everything stays super organized with easy-to-use folders and tags, plus all your work saves automatically to the cloud so you'll never lose your stories (learned that lesson the hard way with my old writing app!). The app shows you cool facts about your writing, like when you write the most words or what kinds of words you use a lot, which has helped me become a much better writer and actually stick to my daily writing goals.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

   I really rate this a solid 2.75/5 stars. You’ve gotta pay out the boockoos for the books. I agree with a few points made from the review that follows: The ads on TikTok are great at drawing you in until you go the app you can listen to the whole story in the ad and have nothing left to read because it was all shown in the ad. It leaves you on this big cliffhanger and then you have to pay money to finish it. I've used many apps like this and unlike this one they all had ways you could continue reading without wasting a bunch of money such as coins for checking in, coins for following them on social media sites, coins for if you read for a certain amount of time, coins for watching ads, or if you watch an ad you can go to the next chapter or a timeout limit for chapters. While the stories aren't bad the amount of money you'd have to waste is ridiculous and I think that implementing some of those would help the app

   I absolutely love this app! As an avid reader, I’ve tried multiple reading apps over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. The user interface is sleek, intuitive, and super easy to navigate. Whether I'm reading a novel, a nonfiction book, or an audiobook, the experience is seamless. The library is huge, and I’m always finding new releases or hidden gems. I also appreciate the personalized recommendations that feel spot-on to my tastes. Syncing across devices works flawlessly too—whether I’m reading on my tablet or phone, it picks up exactly where I left off. The reading experience itself is top-notch. I love the customizable settings, from font size to background color, making reading more comfortable for long sessions. Plus, the ability to highlight passages and make notes is a great bonus. The best part? The integration of audiobooks with the text, so I can switch back and forth depending on my mood or what I’m doing. Listening while cooking or commuting has made me read way more! Overall, this app has revolutionized how I consume books. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves reading and wants an effortless way to keep all your books in one place.

4. 5/5Definitely addicting

   I’m a sucker for those “vertical dramas” and these ads for these stories shown on TikTok. I subscribe to a bunch of the dramas ones but this is my first time trying out one of these. The stories are addicting (obviously not best sellers lol) and just a great way to pass the day. It’s a bit pricey but you don’t need to keep the subscription active unless there are stories you really want to read then re-up it. If you’re looking to do some easy reading, definitely recommend!

5. 1/5Please think about what I said

   I saw this in TikTok and thought “hey this was a good book” and they left it on cliffhanger I would love to read more but the app is very pricy I saw the developer say they wanted to make money for the authors and everything but you would make more money if you had the prices lower like $3 a month or $5 a month and gave us more options like ads to watch which will still pay the authors. It all just seems very money unhungry and inconsiderate, the fact this app is now getting a lot of exposure on TikTok and a lot of people would like to have this app you’re running them away by having such unreasonable prices, the more people the more money you would get isn’t that what you want?? If you lower your prices you’ll get more money than if you have high prices. I hope you take what we say into consideration because I would hate to be one of those authors and find out i submitted my work into an app that drives people away from the book and not towards it. I definitely would come back if things changed because I really want to read the books because they seem very interesting but at the current moment this isn’t an amazing app and it’s sad watching all these authors not get recognized cause we only get 3 paragraphs before we’re asked to pay.
