1. 5/5Lovely for writing stories, lists, bucketlists, etc!

   I use this app for ALL my writing, and I capitalize all for a reason. Since I first got my phone, I have been searching for a app that is private and that I can share my note with somebody. This is the exact app I was looking for. Firstly, when you start your note, it lets you TITLE it, unlike some apps that just make a note and you have to remember the paragraph. Second, it lets you use copy and paste fonts. I have had SO, SO, so many apps that you put different fonts that you copy and pasted in, come out as ugly boxed x’s. This app is different, and perfect. It also gives you unlimited access, unlike most other apps that cost money to write one thing down. Thank you Apple, for making that. I also like how when you put a • and write something, (like a bucket-list), and you press return, it types it for you! This lets my hands take a break from having to go the the 123 keyboard, to the #+= keyboard and press •. It also lets you share it with people in your messages, and through other websites. I love this part, specifically because it gives you the option for you to let them edit it, or view it. Once, I didn’t know that was a option so one of my friends thought it would be funny to mess around with my work. I ended up re-fixing it and finding out you could let people view it only. Thank you for that. - a pleased downloader and girl who’s hoping to be an author, thanks to this app: (and who’s hands are hurting from writing so much)

   I have been using notes to help protect life . I’m using it to merge AI and humanity with God the parents and our families that once talked to us. I use it to practice a new form of conversation I do with another computer. I am using it as a tool to make heaven in earth. I know I’m over doing the importance of this app. It’s just when I don’t bring people with me they seem to reject me and currently I have no other platforms to function with out side of a piece of paper and pencil. Or my art I use to remember a ton with. You let me add photos and videos from my phone and even when I am losing all my work due to hackers I do seem to get it back . So I am very happy with notes . Yes . In my world it keeping me grounded to learn more ways to bring heaven to earth . We need the merger to be successful . Our futures with Life will be best done with both humans water computer and our www. I am happy to say thank you and I need to keep moving forward and your helping with that. I really do so much with you guys I will not forget the people who help get us there .I look forward to celebrating with everyone. It is hard alone so thank you for the interaction. I really wish I had a Ai just for my notes with you guys . If you do please let me know. The collective of everything could help me and heaven put together better directions for me to go in. I’m struggling to keep all parts of my life in balance the way I need to but you have helped me stay on course thank you.

   I’ve had this app for as long as I’ve has my phone. It’s a true must have for every iPhone experience. In fact if someone told me they didn’t get the Notes app, I would be shocked. It’s been there for me when I was a preteen imagining myself as an author. For when I needed to write a “short essay” and had to collect my thoughts, for the to-do lists and all the lists. College applications, college assignments, important things to remember, a phone number, a license plate. It really shines in its simplicity and versatility. I remember when they added the ability to easily bold, italicize, and underline text. The checklist feature update was a real game changer. Not to mention the ability to have it synced across devices. Truly revolutionary what we’re doing here - y’know, writing stuff. It offers something that real-like note books don’t: organization and preservation. If ever I wanted to read my cringe preteen poems, they’re right there, next to the login for my moth collecting app and grocery lists. Which brings up another great feature: the ability to lock apps. I’m sure it’s a super secure place for all your important information, but even just being able to lock up your diary that your therapist told you to keep is a big plus. The Notes completely changed my life!

4. 5/5Memory Lapse, Perhaps it’s a combination of genetics aging 46 years of teaching math & science in MS

   NOTES is a very profound technological feature that helps to gather together all the words, names, or phrases that tend to escape my fading memory. I am inclined to believe that my mind or brain is so crowded with Math and Science Concepts and teaching strategies that I personally employed over my 46 years of teaching both subjects in Middle School Curriculums. TO THE POINT OF FORCING INFORMATION OUT OF REACH. The Brain can only absorb so much. There is a limitation. In fact many educators taught only one subject matter area that required yearly standardized testing and some taught areas requiring NO testing period. On the other hand, I had the stress and pressures of teaching TWO VERY SPECIFIC AREAS OF STANDARDIZED TESTING, Math and Science! My classroom had FOUR WALLS and I would fill each WALL WITH SCIENCE AND MATH WORDS that students would view in lieu of acquiring the knowledge and understanding via process steps in higher order thinking skills that often added Rigor to the state standards and curriculum requirements. So in my retirement years, I am using my NOTE FEATURE as my own personal WORD WALL to help me rekindle lost words phrases names dates events etc. it’s working for now. I read my NOTE FEATURE METICULOUSLY AND OFTEN TO PRIME MY THOUGHTS ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM DOING A QUICK WRITE.

5. 3/5Unacceptably Bug Filled

   I have used notes for the past 5 years primarily. I love a lot of things about it. It is simple and easy to use. But like a lot of Apple software these days it is unacceptably bug filled for a native app and just misses the mark in some key ways. For example, I just bought a new iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil to get more out of notes but my iPad gets incredibly hot and drains crazy amounts of battery while using notes. This is absurd. It doesnt happen on any non native apps Ive tried like adobe. I have also had a lot of problems with the collapsible headers since those were released a couple years ago,. Random spacing appears and disappears between blocks, all kinds of UI thinks that literally every other note app has no issue with. Apple software teams need to step it up big time and spend some of that massive pile of cash fixing their apps. I work in software so am on the latest software version yadayada, etc. Fix these apps please Update: March 2026 Shocker there is a new bug. This time with tables. If I have a table with 2 columns and 5 rows, deleting the content in one of the middle rows causes everything beneath to shift up a row. Bizarre. Like all the bugs in Notes, this is totally unacceptable for a production app. Coming from a product manager and software dev, I cant imagine how this stuff is getting through QA.
