Fixed: the update banner now dismisses reliably — tap × to close or "Update now" to go straight to the App Store • Locations is now its own tab in the bottom nav for one-tap access • New widget tip card makes it easy to add the home screen weather widget • Overnight forecast rows are slightly brighter for easier reading

• Hourly forecast added to the bottom nav bar — one tap from anywhere • Marine conditions (tides, buoy data, coastal forecast) moved to Settings → More • Fixed alerts being hidden behind the status bar/notch — now fully visible on every device

Action Day alerts included. • UV Index screen — tap the UV tile for the day's full UV curve, the hours when sun protection is needed, and EPA guidance for the current level. • Redesigned the Weather screen so the Area Forecast Discussion is visible without scrolling — the meteorologist's own write-up is now right there when you open the app. • The 8-day forecast is more compact and scrolls in place, so every day stays one tap away. • Renamed "Meteorologist's Forecast Discussion" to "Area Forecast Discussion" to match what the National Weather Service calls it.
