I’ve used this app for years. With the latest update the daily forecast is working again. Enjoy having the radar maps available. So appreciate the weather alert feature as I live in the country without sirens nearby. Simple and straight forward. Recommend it as a great weather app.

1/5Used to work. Proved unreliable today in a tornado.
I downloaded this mainly for the ability to receive alerts when severe weather pops up in my area. For a couple years, it worked just fine. Radar image quality isn’t great, but the alerts were reliable. Today a tornado warning was issued in my area. Not a peep from the app. I had to launch the app and then click on my County to read the warning. The warning expired at 7:45 PM... it’s 9:59 PM and the tornado warning is still showing in the app. There’s a new Severe Thunderstorm warning that’s been issued for my area which this app didn’t notify me about and doesn’t even show in the app. I can no longer rely on this app to alert me to dangerous weather.

I have used this app on both an iPhone and an iPad for years, specifically for the audible notifications for severe weather alerts. Over the last few months, these notifications have stopped working - no badge, no banner, no sound. Emails to the developer have not been answered. If it weren’t for a second weather app I also have, I would not know about things like the current tornado and flash flood alerts in my area.

In the Open the Alerts & Says Data Error Won’t Bring Up What it Says What the Alert Says But on the Phone it Brings it Up But Not on the IPad

This works even if the app is completely closed. * New sharing options for sharing alerts; * Text forecasts now extended to 10 days and also includes the date. * Code clean up and optimizations. * Various other minor bug fixes to improve reliability & stability. Note: Over the next couple of weeks you will notice we will be no longer sending alerts for non severe weather events. We are only going to send alerts for severe weather events to include Severe Thunder Storm Watches & Warning and Tornado Watches & Warnings.

New: Synthesized Weather Stations Now you can hear a spoken weather forecast for way more places, even areas without a traditional NOAA radio station nearby. Just tap a station on the map to start listening, and it'll keep playing on a loop. Better Radar Radar now remembers where you left off, jumps straight to "now" with one tap, and animates more smoothly. Storm reports and map colors now line up correctly too. Smoother Map The map screen feels snappier and remembers how you left it (open panels, layers, etc.) the next time you open the app. We also cleaned up crowding around the map controls. Fewer Purchase Headaches Fixed several annoying bugs with restoring past purchases — no more stuck buttons or confusing pop-ups. Also added a new Premium bundle option. More Reliable Alerts Notifications now work correctly for everyone, and you won't get spammed with repeat pop-ups during a network outage. Under the Hood Lots of small stability fixes and polish throughout the app.
