"body": "I purchased this app to enable me to listen to have the NKJV on audio. I speak in various venues and am converting my brain from thinking in KJV to the NKJV. I’ve been listening to Acts, and the voice of the primary reader sounds quite fuzzy and indistinct. HOWEVER, the reader for the voice of Peter is excellent! Is this difference the result of the recording process or the voices of the readers?? Good question. Thanks for this product. Yes, I recommend the purchase of this app.",

"title": "GREAT ... UPDATED REVIEW",
"body": "This Bible app is exactly what I was looking for — dramatized NKJV with text and audio at an affordable price, under $5! At first I thought that I could not change the font size, but I was wrong. Tap the screen and you will see F+ and F-. Tap to make the [F]ont smaller or larger. While the text and audio are not in sync, since I have to do the scrolling, I am kept on my toes and I don’t “zone out.” You find the correct chapter by hitting the audio and book icons at the center bottom. Start the audio and then return to the book/text. If you want to pause the reading, tap the Player icon at the far left bottom to Pause. I’m not tech savvy, but I learned how to operate after a couple weeks of trial and error. Excellent reading/audio quality, and no translation beats the New King James Version (NKJV). For the price, an EXCELLENT app. The Word of Promise is roughly the same thing, but it takes up so much storage and is $40, almost ten times more expensive. I highly recommend this app as a perfect alternative.",

"body": "Just purchased this app today and so far I love it. There are 2 modes: audio & text. In audio mode: The Old Testament Audio is Dramatized and narrated by Stephen Johnson (who did similar audio for KJV years back) and New Testament audio is also dramatized but read by a different narrator I'm not familiar with. Both Testaments have dramatic music in background. The Audio works independently from the texts (in other words the audio and texts don't sync w/ one another). In text mode there is no note taking or highlighting, just bookmarking. But for $5 I have a great audio Bible. :)",

"body": "This app works like intended. The audio for NKJV is good. But if you have to reload this app for any reason- you have to repay the initial subscription. It does not appear in the App Store as an app that you have already bought. So this is now the 3rd time I've had to buy this app. This is the only app that has worked this way for me. It's hard to contact the creators of app to get money back or resolve this issue.",

"body": "I thoroughly enjoy the sound effects, but some of the voices sound a little silly. For instance, a man trying to sound like a lady, or a child and it is completely obvious. Also, chapter 6 is missing from 2 Kings. It literally jumps from chapter 5 to chapter 7. I’m listening chronologically so I haven’t had much experience with the NT yet. Overall, it is worth the money.",
