1/5Deceptive App Designed to Pressure Users Into Paying for Explicit Content
I am reporting this app because it is extremely misleading and appears to be designed around psychological pressure and deceptive monetization rather than genuine social interaction. The app advertises itself as a place to chat with real people and build conversations or friendships. However, that is not what actually happens. Almost every conversation eventually follows the same script. When you try to have a normal conversation, ask for a phone number, exchange social media, or even arrange to meet someone, you are repeatedly told things like: “Click this picture first.” “Watch this video first.” “After you unlock this, I’ll give you my number.” “After this purchase, we can meet.” After paying, you discover that the content is simply another explicit photo or video, and the promised phone number, meeting, or normal conversation never happens. Instead, you are immediately directed to purchase yet another photo or video. Even when you clearly tell the other person that you are not interested in sexual content and only want to chat as friends, the pressure never stops. The conversations repeatedly redirect back toward purchasing more explicit content. This pattern happens over and over with different accounts, making it appear to be the app’s intended business model rather than the actions of a few individual users. In my opinion, this is a deceptive “bait-and-switch” system: * The app advertises genuine conversations with real people. * It encourages users to believe they will receive contact information or meet someone. * It repeatedly places those promises behind paid explicit content. * After each purchase, another payment is demanded before the next promised step. * The cycle continues indefinitely. This is not authentic social networking. It is a system designed to maximize spending through false expectations and constant pressure to purchase explicit material. I believe Apple should carefully review whether this app complies with the App Store Review Guidelines regarding deceptive business practices, misleading functionality, and consumer protection. Users expecting a legitimate social networking experience are instead subjected to relentless monetization tactics centered around unwanted explicit content. I strongly discourage anyone looking for genuine friendships or conversations from downloading this app. It does not deliver the experience it advertises.
