1. 5/5Awesome for crypto beginners.

   Nexo is similar to vault projects on defi but is simple to use with many features of defi built In to one app that ultimately builds a credit line u can borrow against, new investors to crypto need to understand the benefits of being able to borrow in times of need while never touching their underlying assets, speak to your tax professional for details but keep in mind that when u sell crypto u pay taxes but when u borrow against it that’s treated as a simple loan. Much better for long term investors who want to build a retirement portfolio with crypto but still be able to tap in to it for financial emergencies or that vacation. Not to mention you can also borrow against your gains to buy more crypto, as a way of taking profit without selling assets until they fully mature. This allows you to multiply your exposure to market movement on the way up with little chance of liquidation due to the ratios of collateral Nexo forces u to maintain, even with the huge dip that happened in the last few months none of my holdings where liquidated and I was able to buy more crypto during the dip and achieve extra profit in this way! I also get free crypto in the form of dividends payments. I love nexo!

2. 3/5Good for what’s advertised but.

   Update(new) it’s great they added a desktop feature to mobile however, it still has the same problem the desktop does. When you filter out $0 balance crypto it still reappears if you exit out the app. This needs to be a permanent switch with the option to enable/disable. There still isn’t any type of chart or way to sell and liquidate assets. Still waiting on these important features. Update(old): it’s getting better, they have added USD which is great and I appreciate that they listened to feedback. Unfortunately the app is still missing out in key areas 1. There are still no charts showing crypto price changes on assets such as BTC LTC etc. 2. No method to automatically track your returns/loss over time unless you manually track your balance and know exactly how much you put in minus any fees it took to get your money there. 3. No filters on the mobile app to show only certain currencies this is only available on desktop or full web version. My rating remains unchanged, until at least a method of accurately tracking your deposits and returns is implemented. *Most issues have been resolved, old review* 1. This app constantly logs me out on my phone since I started also viewing my account on my tablet. 2. Verification for login states failed but let’s you in anyways and even resets your already established pin and prompts you to create a new one and sign up for face/Touch ID again. 3. No type of chart to see your ROI, or current market prices 4. When selling you cannot sell in USD Fix these issues it’s 5 starts easily. Assuming you use it for its intended purpose.

3. 5/5Arbitrary Amounts for transfers finally fixed!

   First off the app has always basically worked. There is a slight issue that your amounts might have a rounding error in them. That’s ok as at 8 decimal points it’s well under a penny so in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t change the calculations. The only places this matters is if you want to start a fixed term or make a transfer. The workaround is to log in using the website and then you can knock the final digit off and replace it with a 0. Previous app versions for me in spite of repeated removals and reinstalls would have a white screen with a back button if I tried editing the amount. So previous versions had a significantly lower star rating from me. The good news is whatever was messed up and caused the issue for a bit over a year has been corrected. The app does all it’s things for me and I am happy with it. Some days I do wish that max would fill in the max you can send as it’s much easier then just reducing the amount to an arbitrary lower number. Still the app works and works so far correctly.

4. 3/5No interest notifications for 2/5/21

   There are things I like about this new update, but things that I don’t care for, as well. I love the exchange feature. It adds a lot to the app. But I don’t like that it came at the expense of transaction records for staking interest. There is no longer a section devoted to it. Granted, we can get the amounts in the notifications drop down menu in the upper right corner, but it gives out less information than the old version did. Also, as of 2/5/21, I didn’t get any notifications for interest payments, so I can’t update my portfolio records. The best way to fix this is to bring back the Transactions tab at the bottom. Just make all of them a little bit smaller to allow another tab, and run it like you used to. Relying on notifications for interest payments just isn’t the most fool-proof method. Other than that, nice app. Update (2/9/21): The new update does not address the problem. It told me that there were 12 updates up top, but when I clicked on it, all I got was a blank list with a message “no new notifications”. All past notifications aren’t showing, along with any new notifications. Please just bring back the Transaction section in some form or another. I don’t think that notifications were ever intended to function as a permanent transaction history log.

5. 5/5Nearly perfect

   As I write my review a day after crypto markets started their latest meltdown, Nexo has got their platform firing on all cylinders. Binance hasn't responded to my support request from OVER A MONTH AGO, Coinbase has been experiencing a liquidity crisis and randomly kicking me off just when checking prices, but Nexo hasn't failed me yet. Their support is lightning fast and very helpful. They have a live chat on desktop. Idk any others that have that yet, and they're quite good at resolving problems. Instantly exchange currencies with minimal slippage and earn fat interest while you park your funds there. It's wild. Only gripes I have are to please give us dark mode, and please give us data charts so we don't have to switch to another platform to notice market trends! Actually one more thing - PLEASE enable U2F security keys for multi-factor authentication. Take your already robust security measures and crank them up to 11 for those of us that want it! No matter what, keep up the fantastic work! edit: meant to make this 5-star. My gripes are minor
