I have a paid subscription, but I can not sign in to read the newspaper. I’ve deleted the app, installed again, still no access. What to do next?

1/5An unbelievably buggy app
This app is total trash that promises so much utility if it would simply work. Since updating to iOS 14 this app continues to fail and fail and fail. The text literally falls off of the pages when you load a page (downloaded or on-line reading). If I page forward or backward then reload the page it MIGHT keep the text on the page but most of the time closes the app. I have emailed the editor of the paper with my problem which he/she acknowledged as an known issue. That was weeks ago with still no resolution. I get Apple rolled out iOS 14 with essentially no warning; but that was some time ago now. Couple that with the fact I am paying for the daily-edition via this app and you can see I am clearly getting the short end of the stick. If you intend to pay for a subscription to their e-edition and use this app SAVE YOUR MONEY.

2/5Annoying notifications
I get a daily notification to catch up on daily reading. If searched the setting multiple times and there is no way to turn it off. My only option is to turn off notifications on my phone altogether. But I would like to keep notifications on for breaking news.

1/5Awful “update”
I just did the forced “update” to the new version and cannot see the enewspaper. I have subscribed to the News Leader for over 50 years but that may be about to end. The news is always 2 or 3 days behind but I can live with that. Now that I can’t see the enewspaper on the app I may not continue. Hopefully something will change soon.
