   The most impressive app I have seen for a complete rundown on favorite players. The play by play detail is awesome. The close ups and personal feel of the players as they are lacing up their shoes. The feel of the inclusion for the fan to see more clearly the faces and emotions of the game. Would like to see interviews with players most interested in by the user indicating who they want most to see in action. Excited to be a part of this project keep up the good work. Hoping for a chance to get season passes for the next season and get tickets to the NBA cup and dying to meet my favorite player Steph Curry. The chance to meet top players for the draft of the upcoming season, and feel the buzz of the energy these players give so much to their craft and it’s amazing to feel part of it. Please let me know how I can be of help to develop this amazing personal experience for the NBA fans around the world. (Thanks I’ll be studying the plays and points to develop what I think could be a real benefit for myself to achieve my own goals) as I can see the benefits of the league and how much more can be achieved with a team by your side. 2. 4/5Great App, But Where’s the Dynamic Island Integration?

   As a die-hard NBA fan, I love the depth of content this app offers—live scores, highlights, news, and League Pass streaming are all fantastic. But I’m genuinely baffled and disappointed by the lack of integrated live game tracking with Dynamic Island, a feature Apple rolled out years ago with iOS 16. It’s March 2025, and other sports apps, like Apple Sports, have fully embraced this technology, giving fans real-time updates right on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island without needing to dive into the app. Why is the NBA app lagging behind? Competitors are leveraging Apple’s advancements to make following games seamless and intuitive. With Dynamic Island, I could glance at my iPhone 14 Pro and see live scores or key moments without interrupting what I’m doing—perfect for multitasking during a busy day. Apple Sports already does this beautifully, syncing live updates across devices and making the experience feel cutting-edge. Even smaller apps have jumped on this. Meanwhile, the NBA app feels stuck in the past, relying on manual navigation for live tracking when it could be so much more dynamic. The NBA is a leader in sports innovation—VR streams, in-depth stats, global reach—so why isn’t this app keeping pace with Apple’s tech? Adding Dynamic Island support wouldn’t just be a gimmick; it’d enhance the fan experience, especially for those of us who can’t watch every second of every game. Please, NBA, catch up to the competition and give us the modern, integrated tracking we deserve!

3. 3/5Just OK for the price

   Look, $16/mo to watch my team while I live out of state is about worth it... However The UI/UX of the app is unnecessarily complicated all over the place, the notifications make no sense, (just let me subscribe to my team, give me updates on game day/major news, that’s it.) and most importantly… routinely the game feed shows what amateur production quality looks like. Quite often replays, really dumb graphics, etc. are completely blocking the live play. “Don’t miss a minute.” Should never be used as a slogan by NBA TV. You will miss more than several, sometimes key, minutes during games. This is completely unnecessary, by the way, like if a replay of a layup is why I don’t see something like a cross-court alley-oop, that is criminal and I should get $1 back every time it happens. Not even to mention the simple stuff like a quality scoreboard. I will probably do something like subscribe for a month or 2 NOV/DEC, then won’t be back until APR-JUN since all-star break to mid-April has turned into load management, dead energy in the league. Anyways guys, I just want to stream Celtics games in Minnesota. Please make that easier, efficient, and a quality experience for me and I am more than happy to throw Adam Silver $20/mo so that you can hire an intern that only clicks the replay button when play is stopped. Say the name!

4. 1/5Worst App I have and getting worse

   I have had this app for 3 years now and while it is convenient and I love the ability to watch old games, it is the worst app I have ever interacted with. When I’m using it my phone frequently overheats, the rewind and fast forward buttons simply don’t work, the quality is normally grainy, and no matter what I eventually am stuck with the stream buffering for up to 3 minutes straight regardless of cell or Wi-Fi strength. Often, the game I’m watching or the app itself crashes taking out a chunk of my phones battery on the way. But if this was it, I would still give the app 3 stars. Once again I love how convenient it is and the ability to watch any basketball game ever is amazing, I’m a huge nba fan! What makes this app so bad is that it has simply forgotten my subscription. In the past, it would frequently log me out from my cable provider which was a pain but something I was used to. But as time went on, it began randomly removing the option to sign in through my cable provider so certain days I was unable to go on the app. Now, it knows my cable provider and even seems to acknowledge that I’m signed it, but has just forgotten that I’m a subscriber and I can no longer use the app. I have tried to relog in countless times but it just doesn’t work. This is actually ridiculous, I’m paying for league pass but cannot use it.

5. 4/5CourtVision isn’t working on iPad and iPhone

   The CourtVision feature in the streaming option isn’t working on iPad and iPhone. It shows that feature as locked and asks you to pay for the game or log in even though I’m logged in and have a full year of league pass paid for. When you do log in (even though you are already logged in), it just loops back to the beginning asking you to log in. Been going on for weeks. Fix it already NBA! Works on the Mac but not on iPad and iPhone. Edit: Contacted support, they were prompt to contact me back and agreed that it seems to be an iOS bug since it works on Mac. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app, tried hard resetting devices and clearing cache, none worked and the bug is still there. Don’t know if that info will be passed on but that’s where it was left with support. CourtVision is only a feature for Clipper games too so it’s not impacting my overall experience, but it would be nice to use a feature that’s supposed to be available with my paid subscription. Great app otherwise, way better than the NFL app and support is quick to respond. Hoping they address the bug and fix CourtVision.
