5/5Audio perfection
I've read a lot of reviews recently complaining about the the UI. I respect personal preference, but can't help but feel like many of these complaints are a bit unfounded. I've been using the app for about 3 years now, and have yet to find another that even remotely compares to the quality, creativity, and length of Naturespace tracks. The UI update was fine. Nothing life changing, but nothing detrimental either. The sleep timer is pretty slick once you set it up, which does indeed have several steps, but certainly isn't complicated. Many of her new features are simply visual: prettier, bigger track images and higher saturation, lightening flashes on the screen for those lightening tracks, and a folder based organization system for convenience. Perhaps it's just me, but I didn't notice a difference - at all - with the lack of earbud optimization. It sounds pretty much like it did before the update. I'm a big fan. :) If I had one complaint, it would be of a lack of new tracks and bundles with the release of this update. Experiencing my old tracks in a new way isn't half as exciting as closing one's eyes, and losing oneself in the magic of a new track. I understand the recording process is extremely time-consuming, but I think I'd have preferred to be blown away with the new tracks and UI update TOGETHER. Some tracks are indeed more three-dimensional than others, but look luck finding an app with equal quality even on hose "flatter" tracks.

5/5Cannot Restore Purchases After Buying New iPad
Update: I have been contacted by support and this issue has been corrected. I hope going forward that the dev’s get a fix out so restoring purchases, on new hardware, does not require jumping through these hoops. Issues aside, I love this app, and have used it almost exclusively since it first came out. I am excited to see life being breath into this app and look forward to purchasing new tracks. I try not to do this, using a review to get the dev’s attention, and will do everything within my power to work through customer support but in this case it is not working. I have purchased a new iPad and I cannot restore my previous purchased tracks. I went through this with the purchase of a new iPhone and support had to work behind the scenes to get this working. I have sent several emails to support and have had NO response over several weeks, and no the response is not in my junk mail. I was really excited to see renewed life on this app, I have used it for a very long time and have purchase almost every track but that does me no good if I can’t get access to them and can’t get support to respond to help with this issue. As it stands, this app is great unless you purchase new hardware, for some strange reason I can access 18 of my 149 purchased tracks. How can I get this resolved?

5/5This is Art
I've been using this app for over a year - initially to help me sleep but now it's inspiration. As a musician and programmer I'm bewildered by the audio quality and creativity put into this app. I think that ambient pioneers like Brian Eno would be impressed and I, myself, am even inspired by these works. This is more than just nature sounds - this is art. I can't speak highly enough of this app. I pretty much strictly use the "Riverwind Dreaming" track and it never gets old nor predictable. Every listen is a new experience. I'd be really interested to learn more about how these tracks are produced and where the loops (if even present) start and end. This app is the epitome of whatever brilliance these people have conjured. The holographic sound blows me a way all the time and I wish I had access to that technology to create my own sounds. In addition to being beautiful tracks they've sincerely helped me sleep and are very effective for general relaxation or meditation. "Riverwind Dreaming" really vibes with me - transcending me to blissful, peaceful states, making me feel as one with water, wind, and the Earth. I would pay to see someone perform that synth (?) melody by an actual river. This app is genuine sound therapy and proves the power of sound and music as a healer. This app is essential for those who seek relaxation with the assistance of nature sounds. It's magical. It's almost better than real nature sounds. To the creators of this app: thank you so much for sharing the magic and the light and providing us with a brilliant example of the true power of nature and technology.

5/5My only app Review
I’ve only bothered reviewing this one app. I’ve never taken the time to do this otherwise. But the fact that this one app has been my absolute favorite for over 10 years, I had to do it. I feel guilty not doing it. lol. I use it every night, and almost everyday. It’s absolutely perfect for head clearing and resetting after all the chaos and jumbled noises of life at work etc. If you live in the city, and you don’t have your own private sanctuary in the countryside with a river and at least 10 acres around you to decompress… this does the trick. Hehe. Thanks Naturespace. I love the realism, the consideration, the deep quality, and the wonderful dependability of this app. The soundscapes you offer are lush and refreshingly literal, non looping, and absolutely stunning. And I should know, I’m an extremely critical and sensitive autistic high IQed individual who usually couldn’t care less what’s online and would rather be in nature. So, thanks for making Naturespace and sharing it with us. It’s literally the best.

3/5Favorite Ambiance App
Update (-2 stars) - this is still one of the most expansive ambient sound libraries with amazing recordings. But no updates in 2 years is concerning and newer apps like Portal are making immersive ambient tracks that take advantage of spatial audio and other features. Nature Spaces needs to start adding spatial audio to tracks and brush up their UI to stay competitive. Currently their customer service has been unresponsive. I’d hate to see this amazing library fall by the wayside for lack of TLC. ——————- I’ve used this app for years and love it more than others for a few reasons: allows me to mix it with other audio apps which is great for meditation and noise isolation; wide range of soundscapes that are realistic; 3 dimensional recordings are amazing. A couple things would boost the app further: 1. Support for apple’s Spatial Audio with AirPod Pros 2. Sounscapes for meditation that include standing bells or singing bowls 3. Tropical soundscapes - I live in east Africa currently and the birds, wildlife, and landscapes have incredible sounds. Would love to see a few of these 4. Frozen lake soundscape - ever heard ice on a frozen lake? Make a great soundscape esp if set to music.
